Incorrect but popular opinion. Watch from another angle you will see riders cut onto pavement immediately after bollard placed to prevent this and spectator moving back. Race is on cobbles not on pavements and bike paths.

I don't think anyone is disputing that he is going home to see his family. However, we also know that his visa is expiring and that his family did not get a visa to be with him in Europe. Hence we can all agree he is going to see his family. Nothing more to see here. All good.

Real story is apparently a little different. African riders can only get visas for 3 months at a time and his family not able to get a visa. Yes he misses his family, because they can't be there with him.

This ^^^ I remember when this used to be a community and fellow riders were assisted with upgrades at reasonable prices. Nowadays everyone wants to make a quick buck at the expense of others.
