I think we have safely put to bed any comparison between the TdF and Cape Epic. World tour road racing is the pinnacle of cycling. MTB is for retired road pros or those that are not good enough to make it on the world tour. Nino can pick a world tour rider from a Scott sponsored team and come and win the Epic again next year.
