  1. Glad you are okay Sir.
  2. Does one need to get a specific crank in order to get the chainring centred wrt the cassette or is there another way around the spacing with a 2X10 crank?
  3. I'm sure you understand what I'm getting at though, if something went wrong there would have been no time at all to recover and before you know it your brothers brand new aeroplane would have been no more. Not the smartest thing banking so low.
  4. Apparently not. https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/61778-shimano-wheels/
  5. Dangerously low that! But good to see it in the air none the less.
  6. Since cutting out milk from my diet in the last 3 days I've been feeling perfect and I've still carried on with all other dairy products. Seems strange but glad I know what the cause was. If any of you remembered, I've been complaining about the lack of umph in the legs since coming off strict LCHF despite getting in 90g carbs per day (15%.) Anyway, since Monday I've upped the carbs to about 120-130g per day and I'm finally getting my zing back. So my current macro ratio is 15/20/65 P/C/F and my energy seems to be stable. In terms of fruit, I'm only eating two a day. One apple at breakfast and one banana post exercise, the rest is veggies and nuts throughout the day.
  7. I'll be up for 2L if it helps.
  8. There is Cyclone Sportswear too.
  9. You Sir, need to fix the twitter link in your signature.
  10. He is saying that a dropper post is the second item on the must have list after tubeless.
  11. Maybe VeloLife has club rides, phone and find out. They are situated behind Hooters if I remember correctly.

  13. I'd say you're just lucky. I've already had to bleed my set of 1 year old XT brakes, the rear brake was even replaced under warranty a few months back.
  14. Bats are blind, we (well I) forgive you.
  15. ...In the back by braking your besties heart?
  16. Some say that the one distracts from the other.
  17. People, he didn't come from behind. The twit just never noticed when OP arrived on the scene in his baggies, flats and 26er.
  18. Jesse is rather buff as a lego figurine. Never mind, I realised that it is Mike not Jesse.
  19. It already has. https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/130815-fire-enjine-build/
  20. Questions is though, by mounting does he mean getting the tyre onto the rim or seating it once on. Sounds like it's the former?
  21. That was in Pinetown.
  22. The only reason that I had the recovery drink was because I had a hard 5h15 165km ride and was completely poked afterwards, usually I don't bother with supplements. What do you mean by missing something? When I was testing to see if it was milk that effected me on Friday afternoon, it was the middle of the afternoon and not after any form of activity.
  23. After my ride today I had a recovery drink, the effects were even worse than with milk. If milk is the cause, then maybe it was the Whey. Any of the other ingredients questionable? (Well excluding the colourants and flavouring which could also be at fault.)
  24. I seem to be selectively lactose intolerant. Although it might be pecan nuts but my money is on milk. Two days ago I had milk after my ride and then landed up with severe stomach cramps amongst other things, an hour ago I tested my milk theory and had 2 sips. Not even 10min later I had severe stomach cramps again. (I'm not dismissing the pecans just yet because coincidentally I had pecan nuts on both occasions that I had the milk.) BUT I'm okay with greek yoghurt, cheese and double thick cream. Might be quantity though.
