  1. http://ep1.pinkbike.org/p5pb11386529/p5pb11386529.jpg Is that a scar or just a vein on the back of Gee's leg?
  2. He thought he saw a penny! The slo-mo of GM smacking his shoulder into that tree also looked pretty eina.
  3. It's clockwork every year. Especially when Argus and 94.7 are around the corner. Don't forget x/y steps to a leaner and stronger you to climb like a mountain goat.
  4. No, you smashed it because it was an iPhone. The cord in the pedal was merely a coincidence.
  5. Advice A lot of shooting in the dark occurs in the technical section. So even if one does get all these vague replies, it at least gives you a rough idea on how to go about your your problem if the solution didn't crop up.
  6. And designed while drawing inspiration from the rear view of modern TT helmets.
  7. Although the price point was a contributing factor for some, over and above the way he went about marketing things.
  8. I'm sure the forward velocity also aids in stability (marginally) due to the airflow over the wings. Possibly to allow for a more controlled landing as the window for error is so small. But that is pure speculation.
  9. I was half on to something. Question, do you think that is dirt on the lens? (All the black speckles.)
  10. Ahh, good call.

  12. With my zero experience I'm going to say no/a subtle amount if it was a added "filter." Although I'm not sure one can really use HDR (camera function) on an "action" photo since the multiple photos wouldn't capture the same subject. But my lack of knowledge on this topic is unbounded.
  13. Is the movement in the pedal relative to the axle or is your foot loose when clipped in? If the latter, you probably just need new cleats. I assume the worn pedal is the one you clip in and out of the most?
  14. Some people saw a gap I guess. Market the same food slightly differently and bob's your uncle.
  15. This made me chuckle.
  16. Yes he does unfortunately. Although I never knew his son personally, I did attempt to partake in the Junior racing scene where his son was very active. It was the week before our Junior Tour where Adam had passed away at the hands of a motorist. Although I can't remember her name, it was around the same time when one of the local woman pro riders also died on a training ride in a collision with a vehicle. +- The first half of 2010. EDIT: I believe it was Carla Swart. But not in the same time period, it happened early 2011.
  17. Where as well as a rough estimate on price.

  19. PS, the fork is ZERO maintenance. Leaf Springs http://www.laufforks.com/img/LTR/BumpStop-Still.gif The heart of the Lauf Trail Racer is the leaf springs - we call it the Lauf Spring System (LSS). The LSS is made of high-performance composites, which are shockingly flexible and very impact resistant. There is no friction in the leaf springs as there are no moving parts. Therefore the LSS is energy effective and feels equally at home on rough trails or cobblestones, without the need for a lock-out function. Travel http://www.laufforks.com/img/LTR/Travel_Thumb.jpg The Lauf Trail Racer has 60mm of travel with progressive spring rate. The initial part of the travel is the softest and most sensitive as it moves slightly backwards. The mid part, and the longest, is almost linear for great handling and comfort while filtering out larger bumps. Towards the end the suspension stiffens up to prevent the Lauf Trail Racer from bottoming-out harshly and help keep all carbon parts safe.
  20. And an additional 1% for each like and quote. EDIT: and 10% extra if Dips likes said post.
  21. I agree with you that fit/skinny != healthy. All I was pointing out was that it is best to read before voicing one's assumptions as I too first thought that this man was way too skinny and wondered about his long term health.
  22. Funny how many people comment on something when they haven't even opened the link. EDIT: But kudos to this man. His perseverance is quite amazing.
