Can't find WTB's to replace my current ones, any suggestions from the more seasoned Epic riders on tyre choice?

So new water restriction measures announced today (quite severe). Whilst I understand the tourist value of the event is it not a bit "selfish" of the organisers to forge ahead with such an event when capetonians, cyclists included, are staring down the barrel of a gun with severe water shortages? Surely both organisers and participants need to understand the direct and indirect effect this event can have on the already stretched resources........ Not wanting to stir a fight, just putting some rational thinking out there!

So, my assumption is that every single high end bike out there, no names, is overpriced. We are being fleeced by our own quest to ride the "perfect" bike. The market feeds on this trait and thus keeps on stocking the market. Perfection just comes at a high price. Imagine none of us upgrade a single bike for one year? The other point is that PYGA maybe still plays in the "exclusive" market. A good offering, and not every second chap is riding one.......

Rear travel, I THINK, is 110mm. I was very sceptical in raising the nose of the bike. for my type of riding it seems the 120mm is just right..... Can take it to 140mm later, but muuuuch later.....

So here we go. New MAX colours with 120mm Fox 34 on the front. My first venture outside of the ordinary Fox 32 100mm setups. I don't have enough balls to ride this fast beast...... This setup does not really understand "limits".

When a LBS has the ability to only open after 9h30 on a weekday, then "forget" about your order you placed 2 days ago (small but important) and then go out of their way to explain to you that you must get over yourself for complaining about lack of service its time for them to think about their future. This in a shop where turnover of stock is limited, turnover of staff is at maximum and client service at a minimum. OUCH

I mentioned previously that taking the distribution of this product to Omnico wasn't, in my opinion, an optimal decision. Well, true to nature, half the stuff is not available and now its a mad dash to get hold of product, whereas previously I just popped into my local Dischem. Ai tog!!

1) Omnico is known for relative sh1tty service. 2) Not all bike shops will be included in this roll out except if they ask for the product. 3) There goes the use of a good product.

So get told by a very agro sales person at Diskem that they are discontinuing their stocking of Cadence due to bad/ non existent service from the guys at Cadence. Rather a shame seeing that it took so long to get them to stock it....
