    Attakwas 2020

Apparently a route change somewhere? For the more seasoned Atta guys, where and how did the route change?
  2. Just checking, but WTF has my diet, or the lack thereof, got to do with mechanics? Nee manne, FOKUS bietjie!!!
  3. Hi there! Anyone having issues with BuyCycle? Put my order in on Wednesday, did the immediate payment thing, got an e-mail to say my order "failed". Money is out of my account, phone them, "sorry, we will reinstate your order". This morning same "failed" message. Phone again because they don't answer e-mails, only to be told they only "received" the stock and will start processing sending the order out maybe today? Not too sure what to think about this state of affairs? So - update. Just got confirmation that the order has been finalised BUT, because a floor pump is included in the package it will be sent road freight.... Would have thought because of their delays they would try and make up for lost time......
  4. What a boytjie!! Can't believe this event was not covered live by some TV coverage, or even Red Bull TV! Some serious racing took place!
  5. Can you let us know when it happens, can unfortunately not sit and watch the site the whole day?

Early flight back for the boys????
  7. But WHY against England, 4Fsakes.......
  8. Battling with neck and back issues, the setup workerd perfectly for a Tankwa and an Epic
  9. The versatility allows for you to build something "in between" got a MAX frame but built a "mini" Max. Don't think I could have set up this quality ride under any other label.
  10. British Airways passengers will continue to fly on the controversial Boeing 737 Max plane, delivered to Comair two weeks ago.
  11. Whilst I still have ENVE parts on my bike (wondering now) my past experience with ENVE and them actually taking blame for their work failing is rather appalling. Broke a handlebar stem in a rather bad crash and went to ENVE with the problem. They called the break "delamination of carbon due to incorrect stem bolt (1 of 4) used". Concerning with your life could potentially depend on parts holding true to form when needed. But that is/was just me.......
  12. Fully understand, good medical coverage ain't that cheap these days. Was just taking the p#$% a bit.... sorry
  13. I see "cost" being one of your main concerns. Well, do you buy "cheapie" parts for your fast bicycle? Don't mess with this one going the "cheapie" route, could turn rather nasty......
  14. And your other LBS knows you can afford an upgrade!!
  15. So, shortly before 2 weeks of waiting is up I get the little loop for my strap. Asked to buy a spare.... Nope, no can do. Parts only allocated by Garmin to Navworld "as, when and by part number and specific number as needed". Time I think to give Garmin SA a bit of my mind, directly.....
  16. Not sure if it's Navworld or Garmin at fault here. But..... Seems Navworld can only put in orders "ONCE" per week and then you will be notified when your parts will be available. Get the feeling Garmin wants more "control" but in doing so they just "middle finger" their customers. Seemingly good products, but clearly no real interest in real good customer support.
  17. Please explain to me how I should NOT be frustrated going to Navworld Cape Town to get a replacement strap holder (small little piece of rubber band on your strap) only to be told it needs to be ordered from Garmin JHB??? Really, I'm the only one breaking the strap holder on my Fenix so it is seen as a "specialist" part? Nee man, not COOL.
  18. +3 for King Cycles, Johan and the chaps do it right the FIRST time, be it servicing or buying......
