  1. Hi all I will be at the Tour de france next year, can't wait!!!! I will London next year for the start and will definately be at one of the mountain stages Who else is going???
  2. Not so sure about the research thing, but you are right about the weight. The mavic cosmic carbone is a box rim with a carbon fairing, therefore heavier. I think it is stronger than the zipp but they are both great wheelsets, each having distinct advantages and disadvantages. It seems that the vote is swinging in favour fo the zipp so i say go for the zipp. I ride the cosmic carbone and can say they are great also. So it seems you can't go wrong so long as you limit your choice to either the zipp or mavic cosmic carbone
  3. Heya all, just noticed this thread now, WOW u are one lucky chap to be in this position. Although i must add that i am partial to the Mavic Cosmic Carbone, i have a set myself and love them to bits. Your bike looks good with all those wheels, in fact it looks good without wheels as well. I say whatever set u choose u cant go wrong. I personally would opt for a profile set though and use any box rim for the windy days or when u come visit Cape Town So choose between Zip and Cosmic Carbone I love to see great taste like this in equipment! EXCELLENT STUFF!
  4. tooHot!!!! will be in JHB for the 94.7 I trust u ladies will want to see more of me??? Chilli are u single????
  5. Hi Bikemax, sorry i missed the race on Sunday, i opted to rather go train, i thought the weather would be worst. Bad decision on my part as i think you guys got some nice weather. I have kinda dug a nice hole for myself over the last 3-4weeks with my training having become very erratic due to illness and overseas guests but i have been training since last week consistently and hope to be back this weekend at BonnieVale. Hope to see you there.
  6. Ha ha ha, you guys are something else Does this guy even know he is being stalked by the cycling community I have seen him before as well, even though we have uncovered him, there is still a dark shroud of mystery that surrounds the yellow-caped banana-man.
  7. For those of us who ride with Time pedals http://www.timesportusa.com/ Article Reads: http://www.timesportusa.com/blog/images/logoTIME.GIF TIME SPORT INTERNATIONAL announces United States RXS road pedal recall (consumers outside the United States should have their local dealer contact the TIME distributor for their country) http://www.timesportusa.com/rxsrecall/rxs/RXS-Ti-carbon.jpg http://www.timesportusa.com/rxsrecall/rxs/RXS-Carbon.jpg http://www.timesportusa.com/rxsrecall/rxs/RXS.jpg http://www.timesportusa.com/rxsrecall/rxs/RXE.jpg Models Affected: RXS Titan Carbon, RXS Carbon, RXS and RXE (black or grey pedal body) sold between October 2004 and July 2006. Dealers and consumers should contact TIME SPORT INTERNATIONAL directly to arrange for the pedals to be inspected and, if necessary, to undergo repair. 9. I ride with the new impact time pedal. I have ridden time pedals for the last 4 years. The only pedals i will ever ride. Although i ride the new RXS impact (Time) and it tends to click alot, irritates me, so i have sent them in to be serviced. But i think you will be making a good choice if u choose the impact!
