  9. aaah thx holy roller, that has put it very well into perspective. Awesome, so he probably will ride, i cant see how Quickstep will not take him with to the tour regardless of what Jean Marie thinks of his character. Awesome!!!! Boonen is still on top Hunter does not stand a chance
  10. Oh man, i dont know what to say... He is my favourite rider, i kinda knew all along, just kinda wished that it would never surface. Can sumone keep tabs on this story to find out what the consequences / action will be? Keep updating the hub Thx
  11. Oh goodness, sorry our spin classes are only about 50 minutes in duration each. I normally complete an hour per session so 2 classes for me would equate to 2 hours of intense training per double session of spinning.
  12. Another point with regard to IDT i maintain that your discipline has to be of such a nature to ensure that u progress with fitness by being consistent when using an IDT that almost none of us will maintain consistency when using the IDT especially when using them for a pro-longed period (eg: 2 days a week every week during Winter) I would say if u plan on using an IDT for a long period then i would say rather get a gym membership - u have greater variety and ur discipline with regard to attendance will not falter becos you will be motivated to go becos you will have interaction with ppl
  13. I spin and i know of a few hubbers that spin in the same class i spin in during the week. I agree, you should not always do exactly as the spinning instructor says - some stuff they make you do is just childish - but the most part the spinning instructors that i have are pretty decent and they ride bike themselves so they know more or less whats right and wrong. I spin during the week for a variety of reasons: 1:) Dont have to train at 5pm during high traffic so its safer 2:)Dont have to train in bad weather during the week 3:) With the fading light i can train 2 hours (double class) at high intensity without risking training in bad light. For the most part i do a double class - nice workout and weight loss is phenomanal! It is NB though to also train / race on the road / mtb on weekends - i do spinning 2-3 times a week and then crank the road / mtb out on both weekend days for 3 hours plus regardless of weather. Will get you fit and strong for Spring
  14. cool, one less ride for me wot worry about when i am sprinting for glory in this years TDF

  17. Yeah, this sounds really wierd to me, there is no rule stating that u have to stay out of seeded bunches if you are a seeded rider wanting to hook onto a passing bunch in the event of being dropped. It is polite to, however, stay out of the action in the front of the bunch and ride at the back or at least out of the race line (pace line). Are you sure he was not going toe to toe with the leaders in B bunch at the front, then its possible they mite have complained or an official mite have requested something, but still, legally no ground to stand on. There aint nothing wrong with what he did in my books, sorry to hear about it.
  18. Give them 55x11 case closed
  19. Drugs, social or performance enhancing have no place in our culture PERIOD! Socially they eat away at the fabric of our society and destroy lives, on the sports front, not only are they dangerous to the athletes using them but thing of the reverse side, those that dont use performance enhancing drugs are robbed of their dreams. They compete and train so hard but never reach the top becuase those that use are always better. The Hypocrite (athlete that uses drugs) will preach to you blind that u must believe in your dreams and train very hard and then you will get your goal - BULLSH!T You train and do all the hard work but you never make it - why? cos they are lying to us, think of all of them - Erik Zabel, Jan Ullrich, Bjarne Riis, Marion Jones - etc etc - WAKE UP! These people are stealing your (those that aspire) dreams away from you and lying to your faces and enjoying what could potentially be yours Square the playing fields (but cleanly) and then lets compete!
