I hate riding in the wind at the best of times, but you won't be able to choose the weather on race day so you might as well get used to riding in the wind. Just see it as additional resistance trianing, and remember to keep your mouth closed for any flying foreign objects in those strong gusts of wind...
Good luck to everybody riding the Carousel this year At least it seems as if you will have a dry race, however if the weather today is anything to go by, those open roads are gonna be windy
Yes, the event start from the end of the parking lot and finishes in front of the main gate (taking things from last year). Your family receives free access to Sun City and the Valley for the day and you would park at the normal day visitor parking.
I use the Parktoolz biodegradable chain cleaner/degreaser. If i know where to find more of this stuff separate to the chain cleaning tool, I'll buy large quantities. This stuff is awesome!!

How will this event be timed? SSTiming? Where do you get this, and those racing boards? On the road i know all about Racetec and Championchip etc... quite new to the MTB races
