  1. Check out the oke in the middle under the front mans arm trying to make a bee-line also to get a puff

  4. What a story...
  5. I've used the contents from my saddlebag more than once on our lovely SA roads, and most of the time i'm on my own when i get a flat. Couldn't give a rat about the look... at least i know i'll be getting home if the **** hits the fan. My back pockets are used for "pad kos" and stashing the arm warmers when they come off later on during the morning ride
  6. New to this, but very interested to play... I'll be sure to follow instructions on how to play and hopefully not c@ck it up :-)
  7. This is awesome news about the shop... I'll be sure to pop in!! And if the price and service is up to scratch, they may see me more than once or twice
  9. Rollers are a great way of training balance on the bike, cadence training and quite rightly work up a sweat quite quickly. Keeping focus is a must otherwise you will go for a drop to ground Combining rollers with an indoor turbo trainer and vary the two off is the perfect winter indoor training experience
  10. Hopefully around Greenstone.... close to home
  11. ITB you'll feel on the outside of your knee, on the side. And after a ride, it hursts like hell. Believe me I know.
  12. If I take the family... I park at Something Country.... nice play area for the kids and the wife can sit and have some coffee whilst i'm out on the road
  13. Could somebody please explain to me what the fundimental difference is between the: Giant Cyclotron Mag ii, and Tacx T2500 Booster There is quite a significant price difference so I was just wondering what makes the Tacx so much better.
  14. The earphone thing during races is not only because of people not hearing one another. I wanted to enter the comrades some years ago and read up about the T's&C's there, and pretty much the same principal applies. Not only can't you hear people or activities around you, but also that music gives a mental advantage over others. You have your favourite beat tune blarring in your ears... and all of a sudden you have this new blast of energy
  15. I'm so stoked I can hardly contain myself!!!!! THANK YOU ASG You guys ROCK!! B)
  16. I can't wait for the 100th TDF... it's gonna be spectacular and of course work production will be at a close to zero mark in July
  17. Generally these events are held from a particular landmark, such as hotels, or lodges or some place. They mostly have an agreement with these places to post the results on their websites (as they don't have one of their own as you mentioned) Also, only the long races will have their results uploaded... If there were a 80km & 40km event for instance, only the 80km race will have their results uploaded
  18. Performance Timing is not a Chip event. I've riden in such an event and all this is, is a couple of people standing at the finish line checking your number as you pass.
  19. Yip, did this the first time around before the original post was lost when The Hub took a wobble :-)
  20. Greetings and welcome!!
  21. I just had a quick read up on this stand and I see that many people mention that the wider bottom frames don't fit so lekka....?? Will a Cannondale Super Six fit in/on this stand?
  22. SHO!!!! This is nice
  23. Please remember those Sidi 6.6 Mega shoes.... please please
  24. So glad The Hub is going strong once again... The withdrawel symptoms was really getting way too much... Well, at least I got some work done yesterday... so much for that now
