So general consensus is: - Just download the stuff (variety will be good) - It works fine for the Tacx Booster trainer & Rollers - Get ready to bleed through your eyeballs - Repeat as required

I like going into dark places whilst training (not meant to be a funny comment ) hence I was also looking at revolver as the rating on this video is 11/10

So I would take it that one simply needs to keep the cadence going at said value and set your tension to reach 8/10... I have a Tacx Booster and Rollers... Rollers, no tension though

I found this old chat and wondered if the Sufferfest users can help me out... From what you have used (still using) which videos would you say is worth while, and which are shyte? I'm quite keen to get myself a video (1 to start with) check it out and then continue from there. Are these videos compatible with both rollers and a booster trainer? Does it give resitance indications on screen? Thanks for the help

So Peter Parker... There seems to be a fair amount of interest in such an event. Are there any plans on the cards in putting this together?

I pulled off in C, and i can honestly say it was a bit of a frustrating race wit us catching the B guys fairly soon after starting and not too long after that started reeling in the extended VA bunches. At the end of all these merges, we were such a big group with a whole lot of crashes and stops (of course the wind played a major factor here)... yes, literally stop, and wait for guys to get a move on again. With the first couple of hills, we managed to break up the group a bit and at least started to form a nice bunch after a while.

Would have liked to make a short holiday of it... but hey, why not!! I'm sure we'll manage a long weekend only...

I find the rollers not to be as heavy on the tyres as the normal A-frame ITD's. Also not using my normal everyday tyre on the A-frame...

I'm also driving down to CT from Jozi... leaving Wednesday 5 March... sleeping over, arriving in CT on Thursday. Coming back 14-15 March

It is incredibly sad that an event such as this, which I thought was extremely well organised and executed on the day had to result with a fatality. My heartfelt condolences to the family of the lady that passed away. RIP fellow cyclist. In my group (VA) we had bike marshals with us the whole time and directing traffic in such a manner to not even get close to us. The marshaling in general was fantastic with all road obstacles such as potholes very clearly marked with neon spray paint. This event calls for more and more cyclists each year with the organizing being top notch, and I was glad to see the loop route worked out perfectly!! I for one will definitely be back!!

At least the man is getting in some exercise by walking Pepper spray the oke... he'd definitely think twice before doing something like that again.

You're about right.... Having a look at the results from the R4S this past weekend which is also in the east valley the VA's averaged 42km/h.
