  1. With you on this. Ineos by far the strongest team in terms of depth but the Slovenians the strongest individuals in my view. So an battle between team and individual class. Pogacar is not gonna get the freedom he got last year (at least initially) so suspect he and Roglic will be stuck to Ineos wheels and will have to decide who to chase and who to let go ...that's not easy with the depth of the Ineos team with 4 potential winners. There is a case for the two Slovenians to work together but that's also dicey Looking forward to seeing it all unfold
  2. mvdp got outplayed by JV team at nationals.
  3. Only issue with it is that you can't keep the smaller stuff in there
  4. Based on distance and ascent numbers they put in the add, I am pretty sure it will be very similar to 2019 edition. GPX attached Magalies_monster.gpx
  5. Was a big crash in B batch at 30km mark. This resulted in the size of the batch being halved whereafter it all got a bit more comfortable. Guess we have all forgotten how to ride in big batches
  6. Yip, rode in B. Very nervous bunch. Was a big crash around half way which cause bunch to split whereafter bunch riding was a bit more organised. Finished up in 2.26. Hopefully that will improve seeding a bit as it fell through it's own butt due to no races since since start lockdown
  7. Which batch were you in?
  8. Teletubbies land
  9. To the bush workshop
  10. Pyga ran at ~R1000/month at ~500km/month, ie R2/km (this is based on 5 years data so should be pretty accurate) Road bike is about half that on a per km basis (over same time span). I should add that I'm pretty anal; if the bike makes funny noises, i get it sorted out (small maintenance myself, bigger/more complicated stuff at LBS)
  11. Mark Human at Olivedale clnic.
  12. Think avdb kept the pace too hgh for avv to break away. Good teamwork fro SD Works but reckon that team is a little too dominant
  13. But on a Tallboy you do not need skills .... nearly rides itself
  14. How did that landing go??
  15. I know someone who did!!!!
  16. As I have it they are running both a mens and womens race?
  17. And Dwars door Vlaanderen en Gent Wevelgem.
  18. Did not see Hope on your list. Specs: 12% ovality and 113-degree clocking. Ridden Hope and CSIXX and do not feel the difference between the two
  19. Hi Tracey, Although you are indeed not far from either the Cradle or Northern Farm, you are competing with venues which actually at those areas (cafe at Northern Farm and several spots in the cradle which I am sure you know). So in a way you are stuck in no-mans land. I think you will have to come up with some USP which would make people stop at your place as opposed to those mentioned above. As mentioned before there are trails in your immediate area but they are not very widely used. From what I can see you are pretty close to Copperlake Brewery and Brendan (cyclist himself) is organising rides on a regular basis. Maybe chat to him to see if there are some synergies between the two of you
  20. Can only speak for myself but I am fantastic
  21. Interesting that so many of you have had bad experiences with Sunrace. I've had two 11sp 11/46 cassettes on my previous bike running with an XT derailleur and my wife currently runs the 12sp 11/50 Sunrace with SRAM GX derailleur. None have ever posed an issue.
  22. Is it?
  23. I need one of those to bark instructions to my family
  24. Not all frames accommodate a 36T so make sure to check that beforehand
