  1. Pockets are for bananas, keys, phone, pepper spray and food. You never put a dirty tube or *** like that in your pockets.
  2. Tool bottle.
  3. Go for it. And bonus that alcohol sales are allowed again, so you can get cans for shim stock.
  4. Buying clothing at weardirect supports local business...
  5. It's easy for me. XS everything
  6. No, I meant, if you have this filmed, post it. Name and shame as it were. All the posts bemoaning it mean very little. Maybe, just maybe someone sees it and knows someone in the footage and something changes in peoples attitudes.
  7. Post the footage or why bother posting at all?
  8. You do know you could just create a single bike rack thread and ask all your questions there.
  9. Rollers.
  10. So, if I'm looking at a wheelset on the hub, right, I might find three or four ads that meet what I'm looking for, right, so I need to check which of them is available to narrow down my choice, right, once I've found which ones are available and decide on which one to buy I might just carry on with that. Do I need to go back to each of the ones I asked about and say sorry, I found something else? You suppose a far larger social bond created out of asking if something is available than actually exists.
  11. Crisis! That pricing? I don't need the social cachet of the brand name that badly. Especially when https://weardirect.co.za/ has as good quality ( probably better in some instances) at a fraction of the price.
  12. What the hell kind of relationship is this?
  13. I agree. You don't see any of the accidents happening in the pro tour (or in local races I guess) being blamed on different stopping distances or power of rim and disc brakes. I general riding, they stop about the same. I would think that even if they stop differently in controlled or lab conditions, the human in control of them in the real world learns to accommodate the shortcomings, eg, learning how to stop in the wet with rim brakes.
  14. I believe there's a Tiny Dog looking for some exercise.
  15. I take it you all saw that discs are not infallible? https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/giro-dellemilia-pellaud-left-with-facial-injuries-following-brake-failure/
  16. No offence intended, but I would have assumed the wheels alone was why you bought the bike. Why on earth would you get rid of them, if they are as you say 100%?
  17. You'd think with his finishing speed, this is where Gibbons would really shine.
  18. So, which one is it?
  19. I thought the trick was to avoid tiny dogs. When does a dog move from being a small one to a tiny one by the way?
  20. Wont happen IMO. Riders contracts are weighted towards performance/results. Effectively striking during racing, ie. not racing hurts, the sponsor that pays your salary, as they don't get the TV time they desire. It does't really hurt the race organiser - it might hurt the organiser months down the line if you keep doing it, but by then sponsors have pulled out and riders are unemployed anyway. As evidenced by the crackdown worldwide, sponsors can't continue to support a team when there is no racing.
  21. Of course, the exact opposite case is perfectly justifiable as well.
  22. I'm hesitant to ask, but what is the point of your story? You encountered a traffic situation which you handled correctly. (forget that it was cyclists, could have been any vehicle slower than you that you had to overtake correctly, which you did) What did you want them to do? Go into single file and squeeze themselves against the road reserve so you could fit between them and the oncoming traffic? I always thought the choice was not about whether you run a cyclist over or have a head on collision, but about negotiating traffic by overtaking slower moving vehicles correctly?
  23. Someone rode over a tiny dog, I think.
  24. Of course it's quantifiable. It's right there
