  1. I actually read that on another forum as well but forgot about it, thanks ????
  2. Thanks @copperhead, I don't mind making a donation for it at all. I forgot to mention that it needs to be a 104 BCD. I'm doing a hack job on an old XTR crank that's actually a 102 BCD but those chainrings are almost impossible to find and silly expensive. I'm in Brackenfell CT so I can collect. I'm not in a hurry at all and can wait till you back, I'm still gathering parts for the build.
  3. Pushing my luck here but does anyone have a 2ndhand 36 or 38 narrow wide chainring they're like to part with for some cash? I'm building up a Gravel Clunker and going single up front.
  4. He and his young partner Fakes managed to finish it. I got to follow them for a short while most days on the motorbike as my camera man is hoping to put a documentary together on their Epic challenge ????
  5. @Trail-Blazer just a question regarding this extended loop on Jordan that can be seen on Trail Forks. Is this going to be a new track or is this an old track that's no longer being used? When you come out of the new ST that Conrad built, there's bunting showing you shouldn't be going down on this loop. On the map it looks like to comes out on the tar road that loops around to the new Jump Track off Polkadraai road.
  6. That new ST that Conrad built is totally amazing. I rode it again early this morning with @Hennie 15 and the views from up there are breathtaking. You can see all the way to Gordon Bay in the East and Muizenberg and further to the west. Myself & @leon_pro were also fortunate enough to spot a Rooikat on the very first ride we had on the new Fort Simon loop, a beautiful young cat so possibly the cub. Thanks to all involved for some great new trails ????
  7. That is a seriously good looking bike... and it looks fast standing still ????
  8. I'm loving all the new ST that's been added, thank you to all involved in making this possible ???? The new section on Jordan through the forest built by Conrad Stoltz is unbelievably good, as too the new loop around Fort Simon. A little more work on those Fort Simon berms will have that downhill section flowing so nicely ???? I feeling super privileged to have such amazing trails on my doorstep.
  9. Well done, that's a great turnout for a first attempt at spray painting, you can be proud of yourself ???? Let me know if you need some vinyl decals for it, I can design and cut you a set and send up via postnet.
  10. I'm guessing it's the same guys that pee on the floor instead of in the bowl that need one of these devices ????
  11. Took my Revolt out for a spin after the last cold snap we had in CT that dusted all the mountains in snow.
  12. I'll take them off your hands, I'm forever looking for tires for my vintage projects. Drop me your details and I'll collect ????
  13. Good luck finding one of those locally.
  14. Reminds me of something my Colonel in the army once said to me while playing poker... "Ek het nie tyd vir armgatte nie" ????
  15. I'm on the motorbike again, as things stand, the crew is prepping for go time... but Squirrel has the final say I guess.
  16. Very much so, I'm on a mission to find myself one in a size 55cm ????
  17. A recently complete project. Sadly I recently discovered through Duncan Mac Intyre (who built Gemini bikes in SA), that this was not one of his frames but more likely a Hansom built with SLX tubing and sprayed to look like a Gemini. Either way, she still turned out a looker and rides rather well ????
  18. We'll need to know the frame tubing and condition of the bike to help give an idea of price.
  19. This should work fine for his needs surely? Needs a set of tires and some new cables.
  20. Cool, if something pops up I'll let you know ????
  21. I ordered today and they called me this afternoon saying they are starting another special later today where you can get 2 x bibs for R2999 and they don't want me to see the special later and then be bummed I missed it so they're offering it to me telephonically. Can't fault that at all. My order was shipped today as well ????
  22. You looking for a mtb or road bike? I'm guessing mtb if it's for commuting?
  23. Sorry about your experience but thanks for the heads up on the sale, just placed an order, seems the sale is still on despite them saying it ends on the 20th. Hopefully I won't be listing my complaint here in the next week or two ????
  24. I'd place it between 4-6K depending on the frame tubing and condition of the paint. Lovely bike by the way and it would be welcome in any vintage collection.
