  1. C in sat challenge is about G at cycle challenge. Wouldn't bother if I were you.
  2. Caad4. Pm sent. Sounds good
  3. CP. bro, I can't afford to be drilled like that day in and out
  4. I've also got work and so on. Ideally I'd say meet at 4:50. Ride from 5 sharp, till 6:20max. Should get in 30-40km depending on pace.
  5. Also keen. What about meeting at the total garage by Senderwood. Allows a run out to airport and all sorts routes. Also some wicked MTB routes.
  6. Said no cyclist ever! Or was that another sort of riding?
  7. Preceding my Bianchi B4P series bike I had a Scultura 904. I loved that bike, it looked great, and spec was fine. In fact it looked like a much more expensive rig, and I really enjoyed its comfort. However, only once I upgraded and bought the Bianchi (Merida met its ending getting into a lift in CT, else I may have still had it) did I realize the difference. Compare the bikes back to back if you can, that's the best way. If the spec is the same, it comes to the frame. While it isn't fair to compare the 928 to Merida, the difference in composure and feedback is just worlds apart. Take the frame you prefer, take the more responsive one, the more stiff one. Given the chance again, for example on a better frame with a slightly lower spec, 105 vs Ultegra, I'd make sure I chose the better frame. You can always swap parts out in time.
  8. Def be there again.
  9. When I was a kid I put a playing card in the spokes. I heard the sound, and thought, brilliant! So, does that count?
  10. I'd be keen to give a night ride a bash there!
  11. Wohhaaar!!! Listen slysi, Easy there Tiger. A little insecure???? Did the "inverted commas" not give away some of the sense of sarcasm or humor? or was the "slowed down" too much for you????? Perhaps, you need to just chill a bit. Have a sip of beer or whatever, and calm down a second. Slowbee can confirm the fact, I am not exactly of the pro cyclist genetic predisposition myself. Maybe, I was the "fat cyclist" holding him up???? Rant over!!!
  12. Good Catching up on Clint's climb yesterday. "slowed down" by any other "fat cyclists"?
  13. Yeah, I'd love to know too. Missing about 30 lymph nodes in my neck and chest doesn't help terribly much with fighting infection.
  14. If you want someone to brush your hair, and pat your back, then MTB isn't for you. I've always found the Spruit to be super friendly. On a serious note, honestly never noticed it or had an issue on the spruit.
  15. It's a guideline and not the final word. That said check it out to be safe. I know that mine is elevated because of complex medical stuff incl Thyroid. So be safe, but don't obsess about it
  16. Hit the spruit today from Paulshof to the gardens and back. Seemed to be safe to us. Though there were a couple of dodgy looking okes by DHL jumps (not crazy DHL okes). I wouldn't recommend doing the spruit solo. . Above fratellis is a different story though. Oh, mud is bad, sewerage, not as much.
  17. Cool story bro
  18. Yep, agreed **** is getting outta hand. But, as cyclists, do we just recoil in fear and rather ride single track? We smash the single track until the bastards are waiting there in the bushes with knives. It's not a winning situation until we change our mentality, and that of other road users.
  19. Nope, all that I'm raising is the number of incidents on one ride. A close call or two on one ride is "normal" sadly, but like six?
  20. All of that on one ride? Dare I say it, are you 100% innocent ea time? We've all had close calls, but that many on one ride. So much of the hecticnes
  21. No words, just very sad
  22. Look who conducted the test, then tell me it's unbiased. Yes, ive found SRAM softer in the past. Just try be objective in the reading?
  23. Cool story bro
  24. Was out in the cradle today. Glass, yes! More than the usual, not really! We were out there between 5&9 and trafffic was minimal
  25. You actually admitted to driving a Mini Cooper Convertible. Well that's the first step. Now sell the car and buy a real car.
