  1. Last information I saw on this was that you will still currently be liable for a fine riding Cecelia, it may change soon but right now we shouldn't be there.
  2. My first thought is if they put up a picture of an actual cyclist the next step would involve a mob, pitchforks and fire. Lots of fire. We aren't popular.
  3. Best dog I ever met was my dad's spaniel, properly trained to the gun and the fittest animal imaginable. It used to be walked off the lead a minimum of two hours a day during the week and was out and about with us roving around the north Wales countryside for countless hours every weekend. It once got attacked by a rather unfit Doberman and unfortunately for the Doberman the old adage 'its not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog' held true. It ended up running away squealing after hitting what amounted to the fittest most agile dog shaped piece of granite imaginable. I was devastated when old age finally took that dog.
  4. Stellenbosch with a good group of friends and my youngster I managed to amuse everybody by hitting the deck, hard, roughly 20 meters from the end of the trail. On a flat, straight, smooth section... My youngster hitting a drop http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r251/mss-65/Ben%20Coetzenberg_zpshmr0hpn0.png Myles (El Capitan) http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r251/mss-65/Myles%20Coetzenberg_zpsfp4b75r9.png Ray (Raydek) http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r251/mss-65/Ray%20Coetzenberg_zpslz9aaskx.png
  5. Spent a good portion of Sunday riding around a few of the Stellenbosch trails with a group of friends and my youngster. Ben shows me how to take a drop... http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r251/mss-65/Ben%20Coetzenberg_zpshmr0hpn0.png http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r251/mss-65/DSC_0328_zpsvckkfycy.jpg
  6. If you discount anything made outside of the USA... Same goes for their list of comedies because, yeah, nobody else makes comedy or drama.
  7. I'm no Hamilton fan but he has every right to be pissed after that. I don't blame him.
  8. Where is that Eddy?
  9. Season one with its "is he or isn't he?" theme was okay but after that the less said the better.
  10. True that about the kids, which is just another good reason I insist on them hitting the bed at a decent time.Although that doesn't always stop the devious little buggers as we discovered with a fox like three year old and the movie King Kong. Most of the way through the movie we finally noticed him parked off watching from behind the couch, and so began his lifelong obsession with gorillas.
  11. We would need a lot of help because if the proposal goes through the amount of work that would be needed is massive. Unfortunately my evil plans for a secret six month test period for builders only has been knocked back so far...
  12. There would be so many potential benefits of that if it could be arranged.
  13. Yes we can but we need to organize it ourselves not ruin somebody else's meeting.
  14. Was what TnT called for fitting with the original intent of the meeting? In general I'm a big supporter and defender of the shop but with this they dropped the ball big time and no amount of changing the narrative makes them come out of this well.
  15. So in other words the people that actually organized the meeting are not too chuffed with the attempt to hijack it. This has nothing to do with what any of us think about SANParks and everything to do with basic courtesy and manners. If TnT, or any other group, really believe they need a meeting with parks they need to get off their arses and set it up, not try and leech from another's initiative and in the process ruin it for the group that set it up.
  16. Did you struggle reading it then? He advocates hijacking somebody else's meeting, how would you feel if that was done to you? Oh and possibly the person with his "head too far up SANParks behind" is working sensibly towards resolving the issues up there rather than spending his time on a forum stamping his feet like an impatient child.
  17. Not by the looks of it - invite only according the what I have seen.
  18. And once again T&T take a large caliber handgun, aim it directly at one of their own feet, and pull the trigger. I would love to be a fly on the wall when they meet up with parks and try and get permission to run through there when it reopens. That will be an interesting meeting.
  19. And proof - http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r251/mss-65/DSC_0309_zpsoo4zos3v.jpg http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r251/mss-65/DSC_0313_zpsyy3j6ybj.jpg Followed by some further idioting at Contermanskloof http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r251/mss-65/DSC_0314_zps4wwlsn6q.jpg http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r251/mss-65/DSC_0317_zpsufnjui3v.jpg
  20. I'm ferreting about in there now. After the coffee fest earlier I will be awake until three AM or so anyway.
  21. Clearly you are slacking because I ran out days ago I keep rocking up at Deon's place under the pretense of getting stuff done when in reality it is simply because he has coffee.
  22. I'm bored [emoji1] To put it in perspective I have put more hours into the committee work over the last month than I have at my actual work. My wife is getting very ratty with me over the lack of an income and I may well appear at a traffic light near you with a begging bowl and a well practiced hungry look.
  23. Not every idea will work - but that said the committee in its current form is starting to dig in and get a lot of work done.
  24. Edit - you edit quickly ..We are working on a lot and if it bears fruit it will be well worth the wait.
