  2. There are two places in the complex at Black River. The one downstairs is an outlet shop, and one you'll be looking for is across the courtyard upstairs. Good luck... Customer service is not high on their list of priorities as I found out when I went there. Tom

  5. To add to the comments: Easiest place to get the permit is at Kirstenbosch bottom entrance. It is open on the weekend, and you can usually find your 3 other buddies in the queue to get the group discount. The chap who mans the sales counter will actively help you find buddies, and there is a Vida Cafe right there if you have to wait.. Only time I am ever stopped by Sanparks is in December/January, especially at the boom on Tafelberg Road. Tom

  13. Back after a visit to the team at The Bike Park.. Lyne Components dropper and bar, new brakes and re-routed rear brake line to accomodate the dropper cable. Left the shifter cable as is.

  18. I think the frames are pretty bullet proof... This one just did it's second Epic with the 102 kg monkey in charge freewheeling like this for around the last 30 of kays, including the Land Rover Tech Section... Tom
