  1. Can recommend Cotic highly.
  2. I like the fact that this has been made official. I hope that it means more big gravel races and perhaps more TV coverage for them in the long run.
  3. Ja flip. I’m also interested. Hectic situation.
  4. This is special man!!!
  5. FAQ on the web says battery life is 48 hours. Uses satellite and cellphone for tracking, so should in theory be able work in remote areas. Interesting business idea that fits SA market like a glove in my opinion.
  6. Given his mountain bike prowess, I'm not sure a more technical course would have made a difference to the end result, but perhaps the other cross specialists would have been closer. I felt that this race really missed WVA and MVDP.
  7. Any 24 hour races on the 2022 calendar in and around the highveld? I've done the Parys event in the past, but can't see anything planned.
  8. Sincerest condolences.
  9. Couldn’t agree more. Doug was in a tough spot for a couple of years in terms of funding. Increases the chance of this happening. Contribution was admirable, but mistaken.
  10. Making a proper hash of things… https://inrng.com/2022/01/qhubeka-nexthash-loose-ends/#more-40099
  11. Thanks, and you too.
  12. Thanks. Not seeing anything on their website. Do I mail them?
  13. Changed bottle cage and grips to be all matchie-matchie. On another note, where can I find Pyga merchandise (like a cap or t-shirt)?
  14. What was your decision on this? I recently bought a Hyrax and can give you my two cents if you're still looking...
  15. Baie bly om te hoor. Cumulative small steps culminates in a journey. Sterkte!!
  16. I bought these and it arrived today. Comes with cap ends. Not the grippiest of grips, but works well enough for me and looks neat and tidy. Very good value for money in my opinion.
  17. Doing B&B this year for the first time with my boet. Looking forward to it.
  18. I’m sad to say that I avoid general roads due to too many close incidents in the past. Having two young ones at home that is dependent on me, it is not worth the risk. I exclusively cycle MTB and only road when there is a designated cycle lane (i.e. Cradle). There are risks to the above two as well, but mitigated to a large extent. it is sad… but we have to do what we have to do. I’m afraid you’ll always have people like Ian at the end of the spectrum of any society.
  19. He just forgot to use comic sans…
  20. Could potentially be both, but you’ll have to open up and investigate to confirm either. My best guess would be frame.
  21. Bought this Hyrax from a hubber.
