  1. I’d buy that. And upgrade it to Ceramic Speed bearings just because.... Spez are like Apple with marketing. Brilliant!! Love or hate them, people talk about them, job done!
  2. Have you considered two or three smaller fans? Each on their own “remote” switch. As needed you switch two then three on to regulate cool air. I do this with two fans here in Dubai. None on to start with, then switch the first on on and about 30min in the second one.

I think Bottas will smoke him come Sunday. I think Valtteri is a great driver who stuck in the LH shadow. Having a shot as No1 for the weekend will do him well.
  4. That’s what worries me... By riding the same bike would one assume I’m “like minded” or “in agreement” with his opinion?? Could be a deal breaker!! [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]
  5. I have this on the table and going to have a look see tonight. Should I ? Shouldn’t I ?

Grosjean should respond... FIA certified Armco Barrier failed to remain in tact after slight brush with my front wheel on Race Lap 1. FIA hereby found guilty of safety rule 1a of don’t decapitate driver if at all possible.
  7. I’ve realized in all sports watched this year how much the crowds play a part!
  8. True Story from last week... A guy I ride with here purchased a new Canyon bike and was to scared to assemble. So put it on the back of his Silverado pickup to take to a mates house. Didn’t strap it down and long story short he has to swerve abruptly at a traffic circle and the box flipped out. He realized about 500m down the road but if you’ve ever been to Dubai you will know that the road network here is just double/triple lane highways. So it’s a 10km route to turn back. Anyway he gets back and the box is gone! That evening he gets a call from DHL, sir, we have your box you lost. Someone picked it up and called us as it still had the packing slip on it. Can we redeliver it to the same address!! Reunited with his bike later that evening!
  9. No knockdowns. Each had maybe one or two shots get though but never really broke defense. Tyson was working the body ready hard and Junior said after the fight those body shots were some of the worst pain he’d felt. What was different without crowds and noise you could really hear the fighters breathing and efforts. Quite something. I mean we know they working hard but now you could hear it!

    Grosjean... “Here, hold my beer”.....
  11. 8 Rounds of 2min in a small ring. Went the distance and I actually enjoyed the fight. Ended in a draw which was a good decision IMO.

What does everyone think of the Halo now? No doubt it saved him from being decapitated by that armco! Then after the restart it did a great job for Stroll when he went upside down.
  13. I don’t even lock my car when I park at the cycle track. And riding anytime of the day or night there is zero risk coming from a human source. An Oryx running across the cycle track in the middle of the night is about as wild as it gets. Riding on public roads though is a different story. Firstly it’s actually illegal if road speed limit is above 60km/h although it’s never enforced and if a cop does come past you he’ll just pop your bike in his Prado with you and escort you to the track or ride behind you with flashing lights until you get there. But the Expats do NOT drive well here and it’s not worth riding on the Public roads for a long ride, I’d only ride 5-10km to get me onto the cycle track. Although I’m not aware of any motorists hitting cyclists you just don’t see people riding on the roads like other cities.
  14. The way some of my colleagues have been talking of late this is any after 4pm in London. [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]
  15. The more I looked at it the more I liked it and the more nervous the owner got I think...
  16. Interesting. I’m not sure how I feel about it though yet.
  17. Note I said “walking down the stairs”. Not bailing for the lift. LOL I’d roll down the stairs personally before taking the lazyator..... I’m super tough behind my keyboard.
  18. Blown away by the performance of this bad boy. Was tired of moving my 3000 lumen light from bike to bike with external battery pack. Was looking for a light that had enough power and runtime for 2-3 hour night rides which some in the deep desert can be pitch dark! Had a few rides and this does 1300 lumens for over 2 hours and 800 for almost 8 hours. Great spread of light and color. And a third of the price of some premium brands. I’m a very happy customer!!
  19. No excuse on the way in. But there’s been times on the way out the gym the legs are jelly! I remember walking down the stairs inside Eagle Canyon gym like a baby giraffe!!
  20. Got to see Toby and Sam heading off to the dunes this morning. AlQudra Road while I was doing the school run. My day off to a good start!!
  21. Dubai, up the stick to ZAD’s and back. Weather is superb!! Around 24 degrees and NO wind. #awesome
  22. Magaliesburg? Up from the Wimpy? Man, I miss that place!!

Senna has always been my No:1 , my childhood hero. But I accept that he wasn’t around long enough to prove to be the GOAT. Thing is, we will never know and someone like Vettel is proof and career success can change dramatically (though arguably Vettel is more popular now than he ever was). Lauda I call a game changer. He was one of the few that was able to completely change the sport while not changing the rules. He took car handling, weight and reliability to a new level. But ultimately the great enhancements he made to the sport were better executed in the car by some other drivers like Prost. Lauda admitted this Senna again was the first to take physical and mental fitness to the next level. What is now seen as the absolute norm was because Senna dedicated himself to one single goal. He wanted his body to allow him to focus 100% on driving and tactics and not worry about getting tired or distracted.
