  1. Queue every single Rockshox sponsored athlete telling the world how this is..........wait for it....”the BEST fork they have EVER ridden” I’m sure it’s fantastic but the scripted corporate drivel ruins new products for me.
  2. Sand. Desert. Repeat.
  3. Doesn’t Ironman own Epic ??
  4. Insert Patch’s words here.... [emoji6]
  5. Hi, There are a few threads regarding lights so have a search on the forum. But in my opinion..... You need a total of 4 lights. Not negotiable. 1. Front bike mounted light 1000 Lumens or more... 2. Front helmet light 300 Lumens. Follows your eyes. 3. Rear seatpost flushing light. Bontrager make awesome ones. 4. Rear jersey mounted flashing light. The extra lights do act as a redundancy and trust me there will be a time a light or battery lets you down. But when all are working it’s the best way to see and be seen! I spent years riding in the dark. Still do. And this is my “go to” setup.
  6. And why did he only buy one? He’s going to look like a complete twat!
  7. Have any of you ever bought a Harley and then sold it without taking a complete bath? My brother in law and then my father in law had them. And when it came time to sell they couldn’t afford a Chinese scooter with the change!! I think once you in, you in for life.
  8. I love Labs so much. This is me. 100%
  9. Only if you use vegetable oil as lube as this is the Vee-Jin fred.
  10. I cannot explain how steep that finish was for Stage 2! We were there in the weekend as they were setting the finish. It was the kind of road you walk up with your hands on your knees and walk down sideways! Seeing Calebs effort blew my mind!! He must have been well over 1300watts up that entire climb.
  11. They came past in a flash!!! But wow, to see all the logistics and cars and people. Unbelievable, I can only imagine what a Grand Tour must be like. There must have been over 100 cars and bikes around the race. Crazy and cool !!
  12. Great plan!! My boys have. And I’ll slap on the bokke jersey too!!
  13. Warm up ride in my backyard. They come past my house tomorrow during Stage 1. Can’t wait!!
  14. 1. Dogs are awesome 2. Treat dogs with respect 3. Dogs are animals and can/will be unpredictable 4. Dogs in all public spaces should be controlled 5. Dogs are a mans best friend 6. Dogs can smell adrenaline and react accordingly 7. Dogs are territorial so they need “their” space 8. If you walk your dogs, pick up their **** 9. Please don’t bring your dogs to restaurants 10. Dogs are awesome
  15. He’s not allowed on the couch. My two teenage boys make it their mission to send me a WhatsApp pic every time he defies me!! Let’s just say I might have to buy more cloud storage soon!! He’s an old fella now, been beat buds with my eldest son since a baby. They’ve grown up and old together. Pure magic.
  16. Hope it’s better than Tofu Tuesday!!
  17. I’ve watched a lot of her fights. I’m not about to call her out on anything!
  18. Frustrating for sure. However I’m not sure you can get a Visa without flights booked. Think it’s a requirement in the Visa application. Also, for future, when booking tickets check which class of economy. It’s those cheap and nasty ones that don’t allow changes. Sometimes for a few bob more you can book a better economy class ticket that will allow changes for free or minimal fee. Anyways, hope this story has a happy ending for you and the folks. Cheers.
  19. That’s a beauty! Agree belly pan should go, pipe has some beautiful colors in it. It’s a shame. Oh, and the Ohlins suspension, too much of love!!
  20. If it had a Cosworth motor then that’s a story worth telling!!
  21. You mean conceived? “Don’t come a knocking when the van is a rocking”
  22. Same but different issue here in Dubai for me. I’ve got to drive an hour to get to Hatta if I want to have a good MTB. There’s about 160km of dedicated road cycling track close to me but I’m not a roadie fan to be honest. Totally miss my riding in the Cradle and all the MTB tracks back in SA. Miss my cycling mates too.
  23. I get your point but.....coming from someone that has done both disciplines for a long time....The CRF you will ride once a week, then twice a month, then once a month, then dust..... An eBike you will ride multiple times a week and continue to do so. And, if you think we are pressed for good and variety MTB trails, wait until you try find motorbike trails that are close to home and safe to ride. Most people can’t ride a CRF from their doorstep. Bottom line, you will have more hours of enjoyment on the S-Works.
  24. We do. Until we don’t. Then, who knows...
