  1. I always loved the progress in both my boys as they went from 20” to 24” to 26” and finally both onto 29’ers. Now, anything under 90 minutes of riding and I’m not holding back on any pace. Miss SA and all the MTB trails at our disposal 365 days a year. Enjoy the time with your kids. You blink, and they’ve grown up!!
  2. Not close to being ready for mainstream use unfortunately. But they have certainly opened up what could be possible. I’m hoping some of the other platforms and stopped to take notice!! Keeping in mind that for GTA to work you need 80-110 GB download and currently only on PC I believe. So the complications will come to demand vs. platforms supported etc. Currently, not much more than a smartphone and a speed/cadence sensor needed for Zwift etc. So they addressing a much bigger market. But yes, the possibilities of tapping into such a week developed game platform is quite exciting!! I’m watching closely.
  3. That’s a Super Nice !!
  4. Two things worry me when using one of these devices outside. The leverage effect you now introduce and the geometry change that could seriously affect handling and stability.
  5. LOL. I wonder how many times he’s heard that line. [emoji1787][emoji1787]
  6. There’s a bloody good behind the scenes making of that movie. https://youtu.be/kMBnvz-dEXw

I was #34 befok. Never enjoyed Wayne at the time but that changed for me after his accident. He was just one of those “boring” talents and I was too young to know exactly what I was looking at. Loved the racing back then though, crazy 2-smokers, no electronics and wild tracks!!
  8. Agree. Great shop and people there. Glad you had a good experience and took the time to give the feedback.
  9. Knipex. Just lovely. All my pliers, cutters, “handle” tools are them. Lifetime of tools those.
  10. It’s never as easy as it bloody looks!! Hate all these homemakers clips on social media, watch and go damn!!! I’m gonna try that, then try, fail and throw the **** in the bin. Feel like a failure and sulk the rest of the day.
  11. My dad used to be a keen photographer back then. Would basically take pics and sell them to to drivers/riders and cover his development costs. I’ve looked at those pics so many times and asked him, where “exactly” were you standing or lying when you took that pic? To get the answer, on the side of the track, on the kerb, under the catch fence. Just crazy times. When men were men and sheep were scared.
  12. Correct, we live in the 21st century. ;-)
  13. I had a Honda Civic VTEC on order when they first came out. 6 months delivery, only a month in we had the grand old Rand Show (when it was still lekker) I purchased Alpine deck, 6 disc changer, monster cables and amp and a carpeted box for the boot, oh and some new pioneer 6X9’s which fitted into the existing speaker holders so no cutting the backboard. Those were the LONGEST 5 months of my life!!
  14. Probably a 2.5” receiver and not that crappy ball hitch thing they chose in SA.
  15. Very popular here in Dubai. And from what I’ve seen pretty handy in the dunes. Endless mods to customize too.
  16. Sorry, I don’t agree. I’ve got XO and XT. There ain’t 2 years difference!
  17. You can’t buy talent like that. That hand speed!!
  18. What a magical little (well not that little) dongle. Transformed my Zwift sessions after endless Bluetooth dropouts...
  19. Don’t be soft. Go straight to the DeepHeat. You’ll tingle plenty!
  20. When in need and I’m out of the proper stuff I’ve had good success with plain old Zambuk. In fact used to always ride with a small tub. Could use it for lip-ice as well. Just no double dipping ;-)
  21. My pride, joy and many salary in there!! :-)
  22. Music stands and ironing boards probably the most popular “make a plan” options. I like the music stand because I can’t knock the iPad etc. off by accident easily. Cheap as chips as well. :-)
  23. Still a few things to do... 1. Put some rubber type flooring down. 2. Paint wall where all the bikes hang. 3. Put a proper shelf/cabinet under the TV. 4. Get some pictures/artwork up. *** Remembering I live in Dubai so this is actually my “summer pain cave”
  24. There is just something about a US Military Aircraft that gives me goosebumps. You just know that no expense has been spared and it’s the tip of the spear. Love it.
  25. Was a cool build. Can’t seem to find the finished pics. Will look. Built the Corvette after that and this weekend start the new defender. [emoji16]
