  4. Looks good Ghostface, add some more info for the products you supply (maybe an on line catalogue (stuff that you supply as not everything is available here?) - can the mense purchase from you on line...? Maybe a reader's / members link that mail them new info - or a link with the reminder that "the new Tallboy" is now available... I'm sure you get the picture. Come on hubbers, hook Ghosty up with some feedback
  5. Check with Morewood if the frame can take a 120 fork - last I hear it voided the warranty on the Zula frame...
  6. I would say contact Dirtopia or Amarider - Meurant Botha is the man. But I am not sure if they maintain the area??? Can anyone shed light on the subject?
  7. Cheap ons tend to fall off....like holdfast - ask droo's old man
  8. Have used all the above and now onto Rock n Roll - a pleasant difference from the others and seems to handle MTB conditions well. Used squirt for ages (and white lightning for that matter) both are great but have issues with water. RnR seems not to...happy trails
  9. In the States everything looks like this in the winter You living in the States and you are riding a road bike - shame on you!!!
  10. Pictures are where its at yo! Get some on thehub on its maiden return
  11. Ridden and still own both. Sram is far more precise feeling shift, but heavier. Shimano is silky smooth but needs more maintenance (lubed cables keeping it smooth). If you want to mix and match, get Sram Attack shifters - designed to work with shimano deraillers. In my opinion it is still the best set up I have ever ridden. Sram precise feel shifting, but it feels light due to shimano RD. And Attack offer shifters and gripshift... Happy exploring
  12. I have a set of Red Novatec's...not quite as noisy as Hopes but they are light and sound pretty awesome. Action Cycling stock them, and Hope actually.
  13. Heavier bike means you will just land up being a stronger rider!! I on my second set of "Ant" wheels, still haven't had to service the first set - its been about 4yrs!!! Dude can build wheels!!!! And he's a good mate to boot
  14. Yeah, work is tip top!!! Always a pleasure staring at the action.... VitalMag.com during WC season is a must on a weekly basis Well done G
  15. Did you get Ant (Cycle & sports) to build the wheels?
  16. There should be no such thing as an electronic groupset.... Bikes will soon have a sticker "Batteries not included"..... What a load of bollocks
  17. Will probably chew the rotor - very wierd specification to have on a rotor...
  18. For formula oro's - clarks? what are those? Yeah had a set of formula pads in the the back this past weekend and got stuck in the rain (grit included). Well lts say that the new rotor on the back is now broken in properly... SwissStops are a fair chunk of dosh though
  19. Am in the market for some new pads and have been offered the following: Jagwires at about 200ZARS SwissStop at about 380ZARS Normally I try get the manfacturer's specific pads, but not this time. So has anyone used these brands, I need a bit of feedback before the purchasing takes place....shot
  20. Brawler, don't worry Bos is smooth like a cheese grater and he broke his back trying to tackle a black bin after a super14 match... He does make it fun to hang out though
  21. Yeah Bos - I think we should make a mission out there sometime. End of year sucks, just have so much to get done. But i hear it is an awesome ride as long as you do it out of summer time.... I am getting my grubby paws on some 2.25 Xmarks (folding) if you want some for your trail bike - and you wanted to ride a hardtail....tisk tisk
  22. Don't the tires rotate anyways..... Ja, I know - stop being a ****
  23. If it is a headtube that can be knocked out and replaced then its a bargain to sort it out. I know with Fox it is feeze welded inplace so one has to replace the whole crown and stanchion assembly. As Mampara says - LBS should be able to sort you out...
  24. Dude its simple - bird buys you wheels. You use wheels, and make as if the others are for ameteurs. Tell her how much the present has improved your performance and tell her you will show her tonight.....thanks for coming!!!!
  25. Bos, don't try change your winning format day before the race just drink more beer - carboload boet!!! I have a 2.3 Larsen wirebead (42a-so its soft) that works like a bomb. Has a bit of wear but is pretty tough. Give me a shout if you keen. Otherwise good luck mate - I am very jealous.
