  1. Only 90kg's
  2. WW, where were you going on the first lap? Saw you going downhill, where we were going straight. First lap was fine. Grip ok. From the second till the 5th lap it was hectic. My last two laps was pretty ok.
  3. Fandacious: They didn't give me the rest. I weigh +/- 100kg's with a PPO of 433Watt. Last time my avg hrt was 176 bpm. I know I can avg 180 - 183 at Killarney, but I haven't got Fatty's wheel to suck on the IDT :-))
  4. Bloody nice time that kempo. Also at the SSI? I tried keeping it constant, but hell. I'm 100kg and love's a sprint at the end. Am hoping to get closer to 1:00, but not sure if I've the extra Watts.
  5. Did a 40km TT on the IDT yesterday at the Sport Science Institute. 1:02:17 311 Watt avg. 38.5km/h avg. Max Watts 728 Was a hard session and 3 more to go. Last week was a 1:04:18. Fanie is busy with his first session now!
  6. Maybe Armstrong was in Smallville for treatment................ Was at a talk from Tim Noakes and it is rather interesting to hear what he says about doping in sport. If you want to end in front of the dopers you HAVE to dope (that's my understanding of he's talk). Sorry threat hijack.
So in totaal 5 weke.
  8. Naas, Ons is/was almal by die SSI. Langs Nuweland.
Sweet. Sien nou my 3 200km DC-sims was onder 7 ure, beste 6:38 en dit was aftjop.
  10. 7:xx, 6:5x and 6:4X for a DC-sim test last year at Sport Science Institute. 5 from the Met train and Marius. Think Marius did the longest one after bonking.
  11. Wie het Highstreet se mail byderhand? Marius? Hulle mail elke Vrydag hoelaat en waarheen.
Hulle het altyd so 17H00 vertrek. Hoekom join julle nie Highstreet nie. Weet nie of daar nog 'n groep nodig is nie?
  13. All of you who have been using only bike stores/shops. How is this one: http://www.blueskycycling.com/ Any of you used it before, how is the prices compared to the UK/rest of the world.
  14. starclassic: How's the Revelation? Is it working better than the Reba? See it's got 100mm upto 130mm travel. My current fork hase 80mm upto 140mm, but I think it help in the flexing of the DT rim this weekend. Marius were's the photo?
  15. I'm looking to get a new fork and have 3 to choose from: Rock Shox Reba World Cup or Manitou R7 Platinum or Fox Talas RLC I've heard that the Fox forks gave some problems in the Epic. I'm round the 100kg's and I'm going to use the fork on my fully and hardtail. Same size frames. Any comments and what should I lookout for? It's for XC and Enduro.
  16. I would like to know if there's any Hubbers in Paarl. Road and MTB. I started working in Paarl and are looking for partners to ride with. Still living in the Brackenfell/Bellville/Durbanville area, but a afternoon ride is always nice.
  17. What's wrong with it? I've had my 105 set from 1999 and they are still fine. Chain, casette and BB have been replaced, but the rest not. If it brakes you replace.
  18. Go LX as BBB is expensive. I cannot understand this, as in Holland BBB is the option. Lot cheaper than shimano. Must be the importing that's adding more cost. But then shimano is also imported. Go for LX. Or you can check wat the prices are for Blackspire of RaceFace.
  19. It looks like a hitec dude that's been busy in a darkroom (not taking over the world). If you understand what I'm saying. You should see if up close to understand 100%.
  20. Have you seen it up close? I feel the same with Cervelo.
  21. There's one in Willie's shop. It look nice from far, but if you have a closer look it looks a bit.......................... I'm not to sure about it.
  22. I've done the L2L this weekend and no problem with the X.0 gripshifters. Works like 'n dream. What I like the most is the clicks in-between the shifts. You can adjust the derailleur to the perfect position. I've got the X.9 triggers on my fully and the also work with no problems. I would go for the X.0 jockey and the X.9 triggers if I was you. Why am I saying that after my rant a rave over the gripshifters, because it's more likely that you'll like the triggers.
  23. Bike. My moto is buy the frame en the rest will follow later.
  24. I've got no problem joining or be joined. I only hate it when someone passes me on the left. Not good. If I'm out training, I take the front normally and will stay there for long periods. No point sitting in the slip.
  25. Seeded in A, starting time 06H30. Eish. No pain, no gain.
