  1. My trips was also not being pulled through to the web, although they show up on the phone app. I use a old Iphone SE. Contacted them, they told me to have the DQ-track replaced. Still have to do this, but my DQ-track has now died completely as well, so I think its battery is now dead too. Ill see if the pull my trips into the web as soon as I replace the DQ.
  2. Ok, so the new line in the Classifieds, for reason for sale, is going to be "got it in my mystery box, do not need it. Brand new".
  3. Hey Andrew When doing an order through WearDirect, how do I get a proof of order? I went through the payment and it sent me a proof of payment, but website redirected back to my cart asking if I would like to checkout?
  4. Was a while ago, Ill have to look for it.
  5. Exactly, riders should catch a wake-up. The route doesn't make anyone crash, the riders that think they are smart, but that aren't as much, cause the crash. Like the other example mentioned above: If your tyre slips off a rim and its only yours in a bunch of 40, then your equipment setup is more suspicious than the route. In the end, this race has taken place for quite a number of year with the same finish. The amount of accidents in this one spot isn't an outlier. This race has about as many accidents as the FastOne, maybe less, and that thing has an uphill drag finish for 5 km. Maybe put hay-bales in the corner then and try warning people that the corner is dangerous and should be taken with caution. In the end I don't see it more dangerous than a pothole or speed-hump in a route. Especially the rumble strips before you turn left halfway through.
  6. to be honest, I think the Elites go through that corner at the highest speed on the day and they have something to race for, there is rarely an incident. This has been discussed before and I will say again what I have said before. The route isn't the dangerous part, the riders are. If other guys police someone that is reckless, then he will be less reckless or behind them in future. Otherwise where will it end, only straight road races starting at one point and finishing at another? Don't dumb down races because you feel that the amount of risks you have to take is too much. Especially if you are an alphabet soup rider. (Not targeted at you LWB)
  7. Sorry, coming back to a point discussed a while ago. Today again there was a new post with the same question or theme that had been discussed before. The search function could eliminate this, but I mostly find people are too lazy to use the search function. Could the "start a new Thread" wizard not auto search all other threads and come up with similar topics, while you are creating it. Basically the same as when you create a strava segment, it checks all the segments that are already on that stretch and asks if these do not already match your selection? Just a thought.
  8. Make 100% sure of that, its not on the CSA calendar.
  9. Nah, Karoo2Coast is fine, they let you ride even if you are serving a current doping conviction.
  10. 90th on leader board. (not me)
  11. You will get an email with a link to your photos that were identified on jetline at the Nissan MX legends 2019, then you can download those as a package.
  12. The batch boards where there from the time we arrive at the feeding gate at 6:45. The biggest problem was the cyclists not reading the instructions stating that the must remain behind the entrance gate and wait for their bath to be called and loaded. There were guys from EL standing in the starting area from before the first batch started.
  13. I dont know. How does the entire podium from last year not feature? I have a bad feeling that something is not right at DDD. Or maybe the guys want to take a break from "help" and decide to go to DDD and they are the only team that has a real 0 tolerance stance. I understand that it cant be easy, but something has gotta give. Winners go to DDD and never feature, no name leave DDD and they are on the podium. Its frustrating.
  14. See it was added on Saturday, Thanks. Edit: I see they have it as being on the 2nd, is this correct?
  15. Is the race CSA sanctioned this year, because its not on the CSA calander?
  16. You can also use a sharp Stanley knife blade and scrape the clear coat off. The carbon is a lot harder than the clear coat, so keeping the blade at a slight angle, you should be able to basically shave/chip the paint off. This works a lot faster than sanding. Then just finish with a very fine grit and check that you have a black residue evenly everywhere, then all clear coat is off.
  17. It will also change from getting a notification about achieving your goal to getting a email asking if you are not interested in their insurance and if you would like a quote.
  18. Basically yes, if you are on the "open" app. If you are on the normal insure app and have insurance with them, then you lose points, no matter if you reached your 100 km goal or not. Losing points means you get less cash back or even less back if you have the excess funder activated. In the end it becomes habit to drive in a manner that satisfies their app and you drive your normal vehicles this way even if the app isn't working.
  19. 1 play per week for driving, no matter how many times you reach the 100km goal. I do more than 100 km every day, only get one play for driving.
  20. I wonder how much less smoothies and coffees are handed out by Kauai and Vida, with the new point system?
  21. To be honest, if they do not accept PayPal or CC, then it sounds like they want to scam you out of your money. With the mentioned methods of paying, the transaction can be stopped and retracted, if the transaction is fraudulent. With EFT its gone.
  22. I see some spy shots of the 12speed EPS are on instagram (GCNtech)
  23. haha, and Im 1.77 and ride either Small or Med, depending on geometry.
