  1. I have a set of 2012 American Classic Race 29er wheels they are great wheels I am just concerned about the durability of the wheels for the Epic next year. Should I build up a set of ZTR crest using the am classic hubs or are the am classics up for the Epic. I weigh 80kgs and will try to get down to 75kgs for the Epic.
  2. I have RS800CX and I have had similar issues with my watch but let me tell you that when the watch works it is the best thing ever. But when it bombs it bombs bigtime

  17. I forgot one critical point that is applicable to all J2C events Free seattle coffee!!! Thats gotta be a big plus
  18. IMHO the 6 day event cant be beaten, for the following reasons (in no specific order) 1. Berg and Bush back to back with Sani2C= the best route in the world ito lekker riding (the Epic is still the King but I dont think many people see the Epic as a jol they see it as a challange, where the J2C is both a challange and a jol) 2. It is the perfect amount of time 3 days is lekker 8-9days is too long 6 days is just right 3. Days are long but doable 4. The price is right for what you get
  19. Have any huibbers bought from Summit bikes? www.summitbikes.co.za They got some really good prices
  20. I agree with Rouxtjie when he says the boutique doesnt = good, I had a Giant Anthem X 29er which is not a boutique bike at all! but is still an excellent bike. As is the case with the Trek's /Scott/ Spez/ SC and so on Bottom line for me is how you feel about your bike, if you like riding your bike and you are proud of it then thats what it is all about.
  21. True but this is only a problem if you roll the car, and if you do roll the car you might actually deserve the title.
  22. I have had both an ABP bike and a VPP bike and the ride is almost the same, the VPP is more suppel but the ABP gives the best traction on steep decents while braking.
  23. All the bikes here are nice, but cmon would you really buy a bike called a foes in SA, you know where that is going to end up! Even the logo could be mistaken at a quick glance
  24. I am very biased but the SC is still a POWER bike
  25. Looks like a lekker bike
