    I narrowed the noise down to the seat post/seat. Seated and pedalling, the noise is there. Standing and pedalling, the noise is gone.

    My money is on the seat post, because after I cleaned it, it stopped for a couple of km's and then went crazy again.

    I did all this. I started at the seat post with the creak, went to the pedals, back to the seat post and it seems that that is where the problem is. I am not ruling out that it might be thee rails.

    I already cleaned and lubed. Didn't work. My LBS said they will try some carbon paste.

    A question about the Revolt and the D-Fuse seat post, how do I stop the cracking noise? I have been to Dr Google without any success. Next stop at some stage will be my LBS.

    I know what I am going to say next and this is what I do, is frowned upon by my fellow cyclists. When I ride alone on the road, I ride on the wrong side. Then I can see what is coming from the front and I can just go off the road. It's not that easy when the danger is coming from the back. This is for my personal safety.

    Drill a hole through the fork and use a cable tie.

    Alpha Beta Cycles is a legit store. I went there this morning. Wimpie is the owner and Christelle the mechanic/sales lady. Not sure about their online shop, but give them a call and they will assist.

    Our laptop was stolen and a case was made. 2 or 3 days later we found it on FM and sent the link to the police officer in charge. He said that he can't do anything and the case was closed. Insurance paid. I'm not sure why they can't do anything?🤷‍♀️
