  1. My inlaws have had them for a while now. Highly intelligent, can run forever and very loyal. HUGE characters too. They require a fair bit of training and can be quite stubborn at times but are really great dogs.
  2. 4822 - November 2008. Feels a lot longer though.
  3. Funny thing is that marking gauge is exactly why this thread was started when Mr Slowbee was looking for one.
  4. Some day I will get my joints as neat as those... Im always amazed at your attention to detail.
  5. I like that center tool, it loos really cool. Did you get the stl from thingiverse?
  6. Ah man Im so sorry for your loss, I know how you loved her My inlaws great dane had exactly the same thing, it broke my heart when I had to take him in. Im sure nothing will make it easier but its always better to have loved and lost, she had a very happy life.
  7. Bud you are a bigger man than I am, Im not sure how you manage to stay so calm and objective about the situation. I just hope that when your son is a bit older he will remember that and appreciate it.
  8. I designed and printed my first part last night, I have printed tons of stuff but never really been keen to learn another CAD/CAM system. So I used Fusion 360 and designed an adapter from my vacuum cleaner to cyclone dust separator. First time round I was off a little due to using an inside dimension on the outside, 2nd time it worked pefectly. Small victory but Im pretty chuffed with it. Now to design adapters for the rest of my tools!
  9. In the USA the regulation is for 250g or more in weight, the mini comes in at 249g so it slips by. I think its similar for Europe
  10. A mini would be a good bet in that price range. Otherwise a 2nd hand or heavily discounted new air1 should fit. Im expecting there will be clearance sales once the air2 is in stock.
  11. Yeah I saw that update, its really cool to actually be able to use an ND and it does something.
  12. Its a lot more drone than the previous air was. Its now a properly high end drone.
  13. Oh and Ocusync 2.0 is just amazing! was definitely needed on the original air.
  14. I was waiting for official specs on it. So it got the 4k 60fps which is really cool. Im sure its going to temporarily erode the market for the Mavic 2 pro but they will come out with a new one soon and it will then pull ahead again.
  15. The aptly named stumpy nubs was the dude with the chainsaw wheel on an angle grinder.
  16. No Germany? Something up with that list I think.
  17. Just dont try that with polyester resin, it goes badly. Dont ask me how I know that!
  18. It makes for a super creamy and rich ice cream. My wife doesnt enjoy doing it often because of the time it takes to thicken on the stove top.
  19. I still need to learn Fusion properly, at the moment Im printing models off thingiverse and similar but will need to design something custom at some point.
  20. I bought an Ender 5 silent edition, came with the pre-installed V1.5 board with TMC2208's. I did the usual printing of upgrades including bed stabilizers etc. Im looking at going all metal hotend next, possibly a micro-swiss or even a hermera. I looked at the Ender 3 which was my original choice but the Ender 5 looked like a better out of the box printer and wasnt much more expensive. The other cool part about the 5 is that assembly takes around 20 mins and you cant really get the alignment wrong on it.
  21. We have that same Krups ice cream maker, it works well. My wife makes hand made custard as a base for her ice cream, takes about 45 mins of stirring on the stove, but man its the best ice cream you will ever taste! Quick cheat method is to use the First Choice velvet flavoured custards, you can literally just toss it in the machine from the box and come out with a pretty good ice cream.
  22. Bub Im so sorry to hear that, what a traumatic way to lose a family member Siamese and Burmese have some larger than life personalities, they are real characters. Im really sorry for your loss.
  23. Cherish the times you have to cuddle on the couch while they are still there. I feel heavily for you in that situation, I cant imagine how Im going to cope when I get there with my little girl.
  24. I have been enjoying Season 20 of Diablo 3 for the last while. Its old but still a good game.
  25. Bennetts to be specific. When I have 40km+ trail runs its the only thing that works for me.
