  1. Dealt with them many times and always received exceptional service, products and deals.
  2. Ok do I've manually updated the watch as per instructions but it still keeps asking for an update. Any idea what else I can do?
  3. Im still getting daily updates for my Fenix 3, anyone have any idea how to stop this?
  4. Finally got round to fixing this the weekend.
  5. A bit of exploring today. Rode through the local forest to Rother Valley park where they have a red and black trail. It was super hot and hard work. The black trail made me realise my flow skills are zero...lol...it had massive berms back to back, too many if you ask me. As soon as you get out the berm, there's an immediate jump which didn't give me much time to hit..then again...my jump skills are not too great either...lol..wow, my brakes were cooking. A great ride though.
  6. Exactly what I'm aiming for so will test to see if I can just use one dapter and if not then will have to go with the other option.
  7. Those compression stoppers on there are 10mm I think
  8. Here is a pic of what it looks like now. The gap is rather small so thinking a straight compression coupling will work without more pipe but as said, it needs to be done properly. I have plenty time so I'm not rushing into it.
  9. I get what you saying. Two straight compression couplingS for either side of the replacement pipe to connect to the original pipe. What if I can push the two ends of the pipes into one straightbcompression coupling, therefore negating a replacement piece of pipe? I think there is enough play to push the two pipes closer together.
  10. Not sure I understand what I would need to file...can't I just connect the straight compression coupling?
  11. It's a water pipe that goes to the radiators. Was drilling into the wall to fit a box picture frame and drilled right into the pipe that was running down the middle of the wall...who puts a pipe there???...water pissing out into the lounge and running down the inside of the wall to the pitched downstairs.. Run outside to turn mains off. Had to call a plumber out who cut the whole in the drywall and simply put compression stops on each end of the pipe. Cost me 100 quid...ffs.. Gave me some story about the pipe being a specific mm as the place is a "new" build. Anyway, he said he would come to fix properly but haven't heard from him and want to fix myself cos it will be far cheaper. So just a straight compression coupling to connet the two pipes should work right? No need to get more pipe as the gap is pretty small.
  12. Best way to fix this?
  13. Had a day of small victories in the local forest. There is a small "gap" jump that i never ride and usually stop and walk over to the other side. This time after careful planning and analysis, i gave it a go and jumped right on over with a big Yeehhhaa on the other side...lol...its nothing big but it was the first time i did it and then jumped it three times more so pretty chuffed with that. Second victory was a steep climb that has steps along the way and i usually get a few pedal strokes in and then foot down and walk the rest....not this time oh no, i powered through after my ego was fueled by the jump, leaving a lung behind....stoked. The photos don't do that hill justice as its harder than it looks.
  14. At a different hotel now and went exploring around the area (Maidstone) and found a nice piece of trail to ride. It goes around the Gold course that is there and leads to a country park. Nothing purpose built or very exciting but a nice ride out and better than being stuck in the hotel.
  15. I recall when i did Sani Pass years ago on my Mongoose Duel Sus and it was Epic. I got really sick the day before we left and felt quite ill and an upset stomach. To top it off, that same night we got completely wasted and it took me so long to find my Room in the dark but before i could get to my room i had to find the toilet which took painfully long...lol.. Eventually found my room and crashed hard and my buddies had to really wake me up. Got my gear on and off we went feeling the worst i have ever felt. The one chap we rode with was a super fit freak and gave me some serious energy drink stuff and i swear it started to make me hallucinate, i saw goats but when i got closer to it, realized it was a big rock....hahaha.,..although there real goats also...lol It took me like 4 hours to get up that pass. We then got to our huts, went to that pub (Highest pub in Africa..or something like that) and got some awesome grub and a few beers. The next day we did some exploring around and all this while im still nursing a hangover and sickness. The descend down took about 30-40 minutes and and i had a mixed feeling about the whole trip: Sooo happy it was over and i could go home and recover but also so excited i had the opportunity to do it :-)
  16. Have to use the Lift to get my bike up to my room and back down for a ride :-). I do get odd looks from other guests..lol
  17. Really nice, great work.
  18. Agreed. Now that i'm quite comfortable going off that ledge, will give it a go going a little slower which is still bout keeping the front wheel up and landing on the back wheel or both at the same time.
  19. My little 'skills' spot. I ride to the top on the grassy mount and gun it down to ride of the ledge..lol...not a massively high ledge but high enough to practice some good technique and get used to riding drop offs.
  20. Finished my Stans so thought i would try this Orange Stuff.
  21. Came across this sign on my ride today
  22. Such a beautiful day out yesterday. Found a nice section to put in some miles, not purpose built cycling but there's enough to blast around a few times :-)
  23. Lol, out the corner of my eye i saw reception looking at me strange as i rolled in with my muddy bike to the elevator. Also the look of the people that want to get in the elevator when the door opens and see this guys squashed in there with his muddy bike...hahaha
  24. Nothing like bringing your bike down to ride while away from home at work and keeping it in your hotel room. Had to take it up in the elevator.
  25. We had a few options suck as: Seat Leon Ford Focus VW Golf Renault Capture Peugeot 308 Citroen DS4 Although we wanted an SUV, its just not worth getting a really older model and they tend to be uneconomical and high CO2.
