  9. That oak just makes everything look so easy, not fair that one person has so much talent...lol...there was some wooden planks before the drop off where i hit the dirt.
  10. Today i did a skills lesson with Peach at Hakahana, first time on enduro lines...holeee sheeet...some hectic stuff. Got the first drop off that had and rolled in ok but then as soon as i landed, the front tyre seemed to wash out and i hit the dirt hard, it hurt. Got back ul and did it a few more times which went without incident. We then went through some other cool flowy stuff and came to this massive drop off that my heart pound and nerves tingle. Attached some bad quality pics that do that thing no justice at all. I dropped in and the ground just completely fell away for what felt like minutes until i hit the ground and skidded forward, geez, my heart was pounding hard..hahah...proceeded to do it a few more times and it got better. We then eneded off with some jumps which again is not part of my skills profile but gave it a go. The forst two or so were sketchy but then i was getting used to the feeling of being in the air and jumped one or two good ones. My last jump was superb, i got some good, controlled air and landed spot on to hit the next one even higher and landed it perfectly, smiling galore. Left it on that one. Loved that sort of riding, good fun

  20. Thats quite a job but will have to check the fuel line and see if i can see anything. Its so pooh as it happens intermittently and taken it to an electrician and they found nothing.
  21. Ive still been having periodic problems with the Tazz where it will just cut out while driving. Sometimes it chuggs a little before cutting out and other times it just dies. Happened to me this morning in Edenvale. I had the bonnet open and inspecting the engine like i knew what i was looking for to fix it. Then all of a sudden this rather shady, smelly, homeless looking character come up to me and said "Hi, im Rob and im a mechanic, can i take a look". Hesitant, i said sure. Suddenly this Rob chap starting yanking out the fuses to check, the taking out out the air filter and pulling out the fule line and pressing the accelerator cable a few times and then suddenty put the intake petrol line in his mouth and started sucking. I though this oak was simply looking for a cheap petrol high but then he sucked out some petrol in him mouth, spat it in the carb and told me to try start it. The car started first time, i was amazed. He said that there was an air bubble or air lock in the fuel line as he felt the bubbles/air as he was sucking on the line. Having a quick chat to him he said he was a qualified diesel and petrol mechanic and cant find work, he has been unemployed for over two years. I was extremely grateful for his helped, thank him and he said no problem and walked off. What an experience. Now, any idea what cuases air block in the fuel line that stips air getting into the carb?
