yes, I've bought tyres and only paid VAT on this side.... It helps if they are folded ones ...nice and small parcel - not the huge round parcel that says tyres all over it...
Your point are only valid for the smaller owned bike shops, I think... The "larger" shiny shops have no real relationship with you...once you have walked out their doors having spend a truckload of dough on a new bike...

I'm also inthe market for a trailer....I have a6ft Venter but it is getting just a tad too small for all my camping requirements. So looking for something a bit larger (but not really those off road jobbies!) ~R70k is just too much for standing arounf to be used once a year!! any ideas of where to look? I'll try Gumtree, but they are so full of crooks I'd rather look elsewhere...
Interstingly, I went to a talk by Tim Noakes yesterday at my son's school... taht guy is brilliant by the way... anyways, so i ask him about Sharks chances tomorrow... his reply.... "the Sarks will be down by between 10 -15 points before they run onto the field"...based purely on their extensive traveling and the fact that Chiefs could sit at home for the last two weeks"... so for a Sharks win...they need to be better than the Chiefs by 15 points...are they? very inetresting perspective....

yip!! Imagaine the commitment leading up to this...6hrs in a pool every day....for the past 2 yeras (9at least!!) No family holidays, no take aways , no social sessions with your buddies,...etc. etc. I would also shed a tear when it all pays off so handsomely!!
