    Feeling that goat run today in the hips - some pretty steep descents with all sorts of different angles at speed! Good fun, didn't bother trying to run up that first climb to get on top of mountain, but onwards from there was a beautiful run.

    CBC's are partly to blame for my extra heft going into this one! Haha, but will be fun (in some weird definition of fun) A wet 15 km with 900 m ascent!

    good news that Fargo is almost back! In cartoon news: Rick and Morty and Bojack Horseman both killed it in S02. Bobs Burgers is back on as well as South Park (both started well).

    Doing the La Capra on the weekend. Really out of running form after a winter of indulgence and travel. Going to struggle, but looking forward to it.

    I'm tempted to enter - heard it was very congested last year though? Pedantic here, but short course is billed as 40+40 but only really 31+34.... bit of a stretch?

    did you go in the end? I went up today -kudos to the builders in Eden and the nice berm and jump additions in the past 3 weeks.

    You can do a loop of the new XC track, climb up and do Gspot, go across to Eden and back to XC track in around 2 hours if you want to do all three (my default ride). There is a new single track that takes you from g-spot back to coetzenberg or you can go the old way across the top. And the farm road still there too of course. It was all in good nick a couple of weeks back (I've been away though).

    interesting idea that one - would hate to be on a bus with a load of other finished runners though haha! Next running event for me is the La Capra Goat Run in Oct.

    Awesome! Really like Kona bikes. Maybe I'll be in the market for something like this next year too - although the other model is specced with a pike etc. so thats more appealing. BUT DAT GREEN THO.

    perfect riding conditions today, just the normal trails for me, Coetzenberg, g-spot and Eden. The amount of new trails built there has turned it into a proper outing if you want it, or still the quick 90 min bash after work.

    Mr Robot is better, but Humans is still worth watching - its much lighter than Mr Robot, easy watching. True Detective came good last few episodes, really looking forward to watching finale tonight. Penny Dreadful season 2 was fantastic also.
