    My feeling is that everyone does "fine". You have everything you need, just its harder to get substantially more so that you feel like you have it better than everyone else. This is why people get into trouble, trying to live at the limits of their means. Compare this to SA where you can easily get more than most of the population and enjoy the feeling of superiority that comes with that. Not intending that to sound too harsh, but it is a component of being middle class in SA that I've observed. It's just a more level playing field in NZ (and Aus).

    OK here it is. Straight back from the shop. Will go for the maiden ride tomorrow! Everything moved over from old entry-level alu frame. The bar height will need some adjusting, and my reverb dropper is currently getting serviced. The 60mm stem also looks quite long on this frame! Regardless, pretty stoked at how it turned out (the pics don't do justice!). massive thanks to Matt at Cotic cycles for sorting me out! (no-one tell my partner I put the bike on the couch )

    Looking forward to supporting SA as you take on England this summer! (please thrash them, I find it hard to like Eng when they have the ashes). Only managed Day 4 tickets - is there a trick to getting Day 1/2 tickets? Or too late now? Aus have WIndies now, pretty much a non-event, although lets hope for some surprises.

    Put my old front RoRo on the rear. Much better than as a front tyre, and gets good bite in this dusty fine soil and loose over hard pack we've got at the moment. Although its going to wear out before baby jeebus' bday. So partially take back my negative schwalbe comments. I have non-protection mountain king as front - not one issue yet!

    Radiolab is king Dabbled with: Freakonomics, This American Life, In Conversation with Jeff Garlin, SModcast. The ZAR one is interesting interviews for local economy and state of nation etc. They do take up a lot of time though!
