    same here, got sick on Sunday and it just wont budge.Im hoping it will clear up so I can go riding this weekend. I also get sick as soon as the season changes.

    Im currently riding the Merida 120 900 D, i know its not the same but I must say I really enjoy its. The only problem i have is the gear set up which is also a 3 x 10, it feels like shifting a truck gear box when riding on a flat area.

    Hope someone can help. Im looking for a good custom rod builder, I want to surprise my dad for his 60th birthday with his own custom build rod. Looking to spend about R5000 for a rod.

    I would love to have one, just cruising or a fun group ride with the guys. I think it would be fun if you could rent them at places and go for a ride. Oh and the sand and snow thing don't thinks so.

    Thank DaddyG. Got some pics of me after a race so will keep them. Will then have to make a turn at the cycle shop and get the paper work done.

    My biggest fear is high jacking. I can get the bike insured for R 88 a month valued at R 15 000. i would rather insure it and pay the R 88 then have to fork out 10 grand to replace it.

    I hope someone can help? About 2 months ago I bought my Merida from a fellow hubber and now I want to get it insured. Now my question is. Do I insure for the replacement value, or for the cash value? I got the bike for R5500.00 but have no proof of payment as it was a cash deal. I'm planning on insuring it for about R 10 000.00 I see some of the models go for about R12 000.00. Any advice will be appreciated!!

    " A trail bike is typically a do-it-all bike. They usually have 120-150mm of travel and they are usually full suspension. It can be best described as a bike that is light enough and have suitbale geometry to pedal up any climb, but the longer travel and slack(ish) geometry inspires confidence to tackle tougher obstacles and descend fast as well." I have a Merida 120 d 500, love it......

    mmmm .... think i should start crying now and man up for the race.... that was my first 50km race, every time i look and my bike after that, it just laughs at me.

    Thanks Gen..... where are they ? I normally start in moonooi and ride the barnards vlei dirt road, all the way up to the mountain.
