  1. According to the Scott Size Chart - You are definitely a Large and maybe even an XL Get a proper measurement and setup done. It makes such a difference to your riding & enjoyment!

  3. I was pinning it down Vasbyt on Sunday morning and there was a woman jogging down the single track with her husband/partner riding behind her on his mountain bike. Luckily it was right near the bottom, so didnt ruin my run, but would have been less polite if it was further up. It could have been dangerous if I had met them at high speed around a blind corner. There are so many places that we cant ride in Tokai, why must there be runners on the single track?
  4. It seems that SA motorists are neither patient, nor relaxed...
  5. There are a lot of roads in our country that are too narrow to allow a car to pass a cyclist with 1.5m space and not cross the white line. Motorists will move to have cyclists banned from those roads.
  6. Nice! That's what I have on my bike too. What rims and spokes are you getting laced up?
  7. I was very sceptical about this flavoured range and thought it would taste very artificial. The smell of each is distinctive, but not over powering and the taste of each is just great with the flavouring quite subtle. I need to go back for more!
  8. I saw a similar machine this morning Well, it was a TF Zero with Sram red and Mavic Cosmic Carbon SR's Beautiful!
  9. Great purchase. pft! Manual! No self respecting man uses the manual! (failing that, swing past CWC and find Tankman)
  10. I recently built up a bike and took the opportunity to give in to my Hope & Thomson fetish. So I got a Hope headset, hubs, skewer and of course some Hope Tech Evo X2 with braided hose and matching rotors. They were more expensive than XT's, but I didn't mind. I had the older M770 XT disc brakes on my old bike and really like them, but I just wanted Hope. Not very rational, but hey...
  11. I just phoned the V&A Nespresso shop, and they said that this nut trio is it... Oh, and they are running out of the coconut, but are getting more stock on Fri
  12. I am new to Nespresso, but aren't the 3 nut flavours the limited Christmas blend for this year?

  23. That winning time blows my mind. Incredible strength into that wind. And the organisation of the event was great. After putting in so much effort to sorting out various big issues, the weather was the biggest factor. Well done!
  24. Hey Fand: I think that you guys came past us just after the bridge before the Tradouw pass approach and I noticed somebody getting shelled and not being able to claw his way back (We were in black, white and red kit - Fundamental). That's a crap feeling. Well done for soldiering on. That was a tough day out on the bike. It was a diligent application of Rule #5 and #9. We dragged all 12 over the line in 7:41. A little bit broken & disappointed as we were hoping for a 7:00 ride with a mixed team, but happy to be finished and looking forward to the fines meeting...
  25. I see that you got roped into a team with some pro's. Hope you got your A-Game packed in your suitcase of courage...
