    *sigh*

That's probably what Andy feels like...
  2. Because that was what was in the script. Their 'meeting' earlier in the year was a rehearsal...
  3. I thought you meant hooters like these: Tour de France Hooters 1 Tour de Frace Hooters 2
  4. What is your current hub? XT/XTR has a specific QR15 hub, while Chris King, Hope and I9 (among others) are convertable.
  5. Me neither. TdF highlights get priority!

    Oh Look

I had forgotten that he had already been in trouble... From Wikipedia: After a non-negative result for the asthma drug salbutamol, which Petacchi had clearance to use, he was placed on non-active status and missed the 2007 Tour de France. Petacchi was absolved when the Italian Cycling Federation ruled that overuse of Salbutamol was human error. On 6 May 2008, the Court of Arbitration for Sport banned Petacchi until the end of August, applied retroactively from November. It said all competitive results obtained during the 2007 Giro d'Italia shall be disqualified with all of the resulting consequences including forfeiture of any medals, points and prizes. Results after 31 October 2007 and during his ban were disqualified. The court said Petacchi had not intended to cheat and that it was likely that he had inadvertently consumed too much medication, but he had not exercised "utmost caution." The case was considered controversial, as it kept Petacchi from starting the Tour de France as he had planned and for the court ruling that he should be suspended despite acknowledging that he had not cheated. Petacchi maintained that he had done no wrong. As a result of this, on 16 May 2008, Petacchi was fired by Team Milram. After his suspension he joined LPR Brakes-Ballan.

    LOOK 695

That is hectic. But to soften the blow, it does include cranks and a stem. And you don't need a seatpost...
  8. Not if some of them look like boys...
  9. I saw a white carbon Sintesi hardtail at the Knysna 50k. Blinged to the teeth with high end kit - rider was in white Cervelo kit with white booties to match. We kept passing each other till rode away from me on the last few rollers. Bloody agent!
  10. Finally! Congratulations! It looks awesome! Cant wait to hear your ride report.
  11. I don't think these are in the Mavic catalogue
  12. Bargain @ $2800.00
  13. Something along the lines of Edge Composites carbon rims with tune hubs and Sapim spokes with Alu nipples??

    Roman seat

Could be a Specialized Romin? http://www.specialized.com/us/en/bc/SBCEqProduct.jsp?spid=47281 Its clear that your dear wife would rather buy you a saddle than kiss your ass!
  15. Looks pretty eina. I dont dig the guy, so I find it difficult to feel any sympathy for him.
  16. Another great Hub thread. Judge, Jury & Excecutioner! Keyboard moralists in action again. There are a few sensible Hubbers in between. Thank goodness. Bos. Chill. Its just The Hub. You cant take everything seriously (except the good things) wanna-b. Bummer you crashed, at least you did a proper job of it! Glad to hear that you are (mostly) OK and I love your positive attitude.
  17. Does this put the spotlight back on Jan? Or has he said his bit and out of trouble (but still in disgrace)? His book of confessions will be an interesting read...
  18. You are right. Most of these bike set-ups are road orientated. The spreadsheet that Bos posted seems to have one of each - I habent checked to see if they are different. Dr Swart has 2 different sets of numbers for a set-up.
  19. Ha Ha no, that's donating skin or buying land. I try and donate every few months. It really stuffs my cycling though. Did anyone go last night?
  20. As with all these things, accurate measurement is the key. Inseam measurement is critical. You need someone attractive to help you with that. If necessary, it needs to be measured more than once to make sure its correct. If in doubt, do it again... Competitive Cyclist has a Fit Calculator worth looking at. If all else fails, get hold of Dr Jeroen Swart at Sports Science Institute.
  21. I ended up donating blood, so I will skip today. Keen for next week (weather permitting of course)
  22. Is anyone going? Should be nice (cold) weather tonight.
  23. I hadn't looked at the photo set yet. It looks like it is done over night and built in the morning. Awesome!
