  1. I am out. one of my riding mates did an order yesterday, so I quickly joined his. Good luck, I hope this one goes well.
  2. Steel is Real, Baby (Even if it is rebar) B) Integrated seat post! Very cool B)
  3. I see that Campy is listed on National Cycles. I thought J&J did that exclusively?
  4. I think its about R35K for the EMX5 frame alone...
  5. I am hoping to face a similar dilemma later this year. A mate of mine had Dura Ace 7800 and preferred that to his (OLD!) Campy. When he got a new bike, he changed to Force and has taken a while to settle down and still misses the Dura Ace. He says its a lot quieter and smoother. It clearly comes down to personal choice. The weight advantage of the Force does add to it's attractiveness...
  6. I dont think there is a difference. 9spd is 9spd
  7. There is a big difference between NEED and WANT...
  8. For high wear and tear items, it doesnt make sense to go expensive. The cost of chains in general is frightening anyway.
  9. Its raining in Hout Bay as well...
  10. They are VERY nice and not cheap. Our MTN Energade team ride them John O'Connor Cycles stock them (along with Cannondale) The EMX-7 will be a stunner when it comes out!
  11. You could take it to a Polar dealer and they send it away for you. It does take up to 10 working days though (from Cape Town).
  12. Shew! I thought it was computer or The Hub had been blocked at our server!
  13. Nice bike! Especially since its just the 'spare'... Will that one go on the indoor trainer?
  14. Any action here?
  15. I am just going to use the wheels I have (Ksyrium Elites) - I dont have the luxury of a choice of weaponry. I would love to have something deep and carbon and sexy (404 carbon clincher), but they cost more than my whole bike...
  16. Thanks They do look nice! Apart from my lack of cash, I am too heavy (at the moment)
  17. That's a good offer! How can you say no to that? Kiwi, what do those weigh and do they have a weight limit?
  18. They are still operational I am getting responses to my emails, sometimes via phone calls! I have ordered one or two things and so have mates, and all has gone very well. I am impressed and would reccomend them.
  19. Trust and honesty are pretty much the bottom line for Hub sales. I sort of rely on the 'security' of The Hub environment and hope that the other person feels the same. I have done several buying and selling transactions and all have gone well. Payment confirms the sale. Once money is in the bank, the item can me sent. Speed Services is the prefered method. Or cash on collection.
  20. Weather predictions reckon its gonna be OK. Browndog and I are keen.
  21. We email you our wish list from CRC - you then add that to your basket. People who are keen must PM you for your address etc. When order is placed and paid for, you then work out what each person owes and they do EFT to you. When order arrives, you pay VAT + bit extra + Handling fee (hopefully not clearance fee). You then calculate what everyone owes and they come and collect.
  22. I am riding home via Camps Bay and Constantia Nek. Hoping to enjoy the weather and not worry about the traffic...
  23. OK, so who is gonna take ownership of this order? The Orginal Poster?
  24. Damn! I thought this had stopped. Not too many of those around...
  25. I have about R1300.00 worth. There was a thread the other day with several people each having R400 worth, but it didnt take off - thread here We need about R2900 to get free shipping...
