  1. As a pain killer, I would imagine that TT's were faster because they didn't feel the burn and could push harder. Performance enhancing, from that point of view.
  2. We managed to scrape 12 riders together and bagged an entry. Cannot wait!
  3. 3rd overall in the Leadboat challenge https://www.instagram.com/p/ChSbdtapF7W/
  4. The frosty hills past Durbanville out towards Philadelphia and the up to Tafelberg Rd. The weather held off until we got home and then it poured !

Does anyone know how many entrants vs starters vs finishers there were? Results aren't up on the website yet.

So, why bring your twatter/crapface comments here then ? Rather go an be insulting, patronising and condescending there.

I wasn't there, but had mates riding. The said that it started snowing and weren't dressed for those temp. Hypothermia was something they didn't want to risk, so pulled out. If that made them moaning Karens, then so be it. Those who carried on riding were clearly better equipped.
  11. But now, those jorts are confusing. Are those commuter, ebike or gravel bike specific ?
  12. That'll buff right out
  13. @Titan Racing Bikes do you perhaps have an ETA on this range ? And any chance that a frame only option will be available ? I would like to get an XS for my wife 🤞
  14. So, we live in an era where you order online and expect delivery in 2 or 3 (working) days. especially on bulky goods. And that's normal service. Sometimes you get lucky and the stuff is delivered the next day, and that's pretty good. But seldom, if ever, do you get rims delivered on the same day that you order them! That is next level! Nice work @MarcHD and team at Get Stoked 😎 👌
  15. So, who's the problem in this situation ? The company selling it, or the people buying it at that price ?
  16. Seems like Woollies is the S-Works of groceries
  17. If you place the crowfoot wrench at an angle 90-degrees to the torque wrench handle, the amount of torque you’re applying doesn’t change. You can set the torque wrench to the fastener’s torque specification and continue to use the torque wrench normally. https://www.tekton.com/blog/how-to-accurately-use-a-torque-wrench-with-a-crowfoot-wrench

  19. You can read all about it here: https://www.squirtcyclingproducts.com/portfolio_page/squirt-e-bike-chain-wax/ if its so marvellous for ebikes, imagine what it would do for your 'ordinary bike !?
  20. I get shifters (single click), shorter cranks and forks etc. But: https://bike.shimano.com/en-EU/technologies/apparel-accessories/footwear/e-bike-rated.html https://www.cyclevolta.com/story/ebike-components/saddles-designed-for-electric-mountain-bikes/
  21. A 'normal' flare nut wrench doesn't have the torque wrench slot I think that Park Tool used to do a small crow's foot for a torque wrench, but they make this one now https://cyclingtips.com/2022/05/cool-tool-tuesday-8-the-best-tools-for-installing-hydraulic-disc-brakes/
  22. There is no doubt that top of the line big brand products are amazing, but its debatable if its worth so much more than a smaller brand's best product. The same conversation could be had about almost any other product ranging from cars to TVs to takkies. Their Sales and Marketing department makes you believe that their R&D department is better than anyone else's.
  23. What makes it ebike specific I have seen certain saddles and even shoes, and wondered the same
