That was a great event! I thought that it was very well organized and I thoroughly enjoyed the day. And most of all, I am very grateful that it didn't rain. There are parts of that course that would been terrible on the GG.

It would be interesting to see how the Trek EXe 9.5 compares at the same price. I collected it yesterday, but haven't had a chance to fiddle with it yet. The edges are rough, so may need a bit of sanding down for the light to slide on and off easily.

Are these your experiences for your road bike ?

My first reaction would be to check if there is a washer behind the cassette. But that wouldn't make the problem come and go.

Do you ride an ebike ? If so, be sure to ebike specific chain lube. If you have a 'normal' bike. That ebike lube will be even better... Johan Bornman (old Hubber) used to advocate the use of motor oil on chains. Those were always fun threads to follow...

As a pain killer, I would imagine that TT's were faster because they didn't feel the burn and could push harder. Performance enhancing, from that point of view.
