We took a drive with the family this morning - quite a few cyclists out and about in the strong south easter. Lots of cops and law enforcement personnel too. We were somewhat amazed watching a cyclist being pulled over and reprimanded for not having his buff pulled up in Kalk Bay. Two kite boarders at Misty Cliffs were having a jol. Surfer at Kommetjie was reprimanded by a policeman upon his exit from the water. All other beaches seemed quiet apart from a few guys fishing or pumping prawns here and there.
I just finished watching this - seldom that a 2nd season is as good, if not better than the first. Having said that, they certainly dialled up the fight scenes and body count. (that's not what made it better IMO)
Also a slow moving story, but enjoyable and well done. By slow moving, I mean you could tell the story in a few short sentences. But it's about how the story is told that is what makes it a good movie. (A bit like 1917)
Just saw a 'wanted' advert for a 'Seat Pin' . And it wasn't for a retro bike so that it matches his 'Goose Neck'. He is wanting a carbon fibre aero seat post (or even seat mast as some brands call it)
What size tyres are you running ? I see that your bike is an XR2 - TDN's post is very relevant. My 2013 Giant TCR struggled with 25mm GP4000's - they seem to run pretty fat on my American Classic Argent. Strangely, 28mm Giant Gavia tyres had more clearance.

Kudos to the cyclist for fighting back and not losing anything, and to the white Corolla who stopped to help. (Although hand to hand combat is not the method most of us could/should employ - it does require a bit of skill and practice and there is usually a very clear winner and loser)
