True. I have some AUS8 blades and they are not bad at all. Tool steel is usually a love it or hate it affair. I Love it and this one is already showing some nice patina after a couple of days of usage. Edit. By saying AUS8 is not bad i'm meaning it's not bad for a "budget friendly blade".

Ontario RAT Model 1 with D2 tool steel blade. At R850 this is by far the best value for money knive I have ever bought. Fit and finish is very good. They have some veriety in handle colours and it's also available with AUS-8. There is also a RAT Model 2 witch looks identical but is just smaller in size.

Great service indeed ! I Got the last painted frame they had. They still have some large frames but they are raw/unpainted. I Don't know how many though.

So the other day I discovered a little mishap on my OneTen frame. I Called up Pat, discussed the problem and sent him a pic. Next day Hilton called me and said there is a slight problem. He dug through the whole warehouse and bummer, no more large green frames. The last painted large frame that they had was a white one and he wanted to know if that will be ok. I Said no problem and it arrived two days later. Shout out to Pyga ! You guys rock ! I Wanted to sell the frame and get a Stage Max in it's place butt when the frame arrived I changed my mind and decided to build it. Took it for it's maiden this morning and as always she didn't disappoint ! Amazing lekke bike !

What do you guys think would be a reasonable selling price for a large 110-29 frame ? The front triangle is new (warranty replacement). The seat and chain stays are in very good condition with very minor stone chips from normal use. The shock is in 100% condition, mechanically and aesthetically. I Am considering a upgrade to a Stage Max frame.

I Would rather go to a gun fight with a 9mm loaded with JHP than a 10mm or .40 loaded with FMJ.

There's loads of Youtube videos comparing FMJ to JHP. JHP is designed to expand on impact and cause a lot of damage as it penetrates a subject. There is a reason why FMJ is referred to as "range ammo" and JHP as "self defence ammo". You will immediately notice it as well when you compare their prices.

Good post 9mm is very effective if you know what you are doing. Shot placement and ammo choice can make a huge difference. I Carried Magtech Guardian Gold 115+P for a lot of years. They became hard to find and I switched to Hornady Critical Duty 135+P about a year ago. My EDC pistol is a G19C. Being compensated to tame the recoil a bit I get very accurate groups and also much better second shot placements when double tapping.

I Will agree with a lot of the suggestions here that 30-06 and 308 is both really good all round calibres. If I had to have only one rifle it would definitely be one of those two. Here is my three rifle's. A Steyr 270 with 22" barrel, vir die vlaktes. A Sauer 30-06 full stock with 19" barrel, vir die bos. A Brno 22LR with a Sus-Tac silencer, its "Silent But Violent".

Me too My 110's frame broke on Saturday April fool's morning last year. I Didn't go around circulating pics or bashing the brand because I knew there some issues with a batch of frames. My riding partner who happens to be a friend of Pat took a pic of my bike and sent it to Pat making a joke of it, being April fool's day and all. That same afternoon I got a call from Pat personally telling me not to worry and it will get sorted out first thing Monday morrning. The aircan of my shock also got damaged in the process. Hilton phoned me early Monday morning and started making the arrangements. The new front triangle and replacement shock was delivered by courier on Thursday. I Already had the bike stripped and started rebuilding it straight away. I Was finished on Friday and riding on Saturday Those guys are top notch ! By far the best customer service I have ever received from anybody in any industry.
