  3. Your KICKR is very much a computer and indoors is where it is safe. The dust, grass and potentially moisture is just not good for any smart trainer.
  4. Hey Billygoat0523, Please feel free to contact our Wahoo support team support@wahoofitness.co.za The items you are looking for is not standard items available through retail, but we can sort you out. Your local Wahooligan
  5. Hi There, There will be a slight vibration caused by the heavy flywheel spinning at high RPMs. Should you have any technical questions or concerns I recommend that you get in touch with one of our support agents - best channel to follow is support@wahoofitness.co.za They will be able to give you a clear answer on what is within the normal ranges with regards to sounds, vibrations or niggles. Most of these can be solved very quickly with the help of a Wahooligan expert. Cheers!

  7. Great question. We're actively working on this link and hope to have the first phase of the integration completed by end of February. We'll definitely keep Hubbers posted on our progress here as it is one of the most frequently asked questions on the Wahoo ELEMNT range.

  9. Hey guys, feeling flattered Our team (iKhambi) has expanded this year to ensure better after sales support and technical advice. Gearing up for an exciting season in 2019. You can reach us at 0876541940 or email at support@wahoofitness.co.za We can not have any success without our retail partners... They have been an amazing network of passionate dealers. Anyone can PM me with their location and I will be sure to point you to the closest retailer to assist. Cheers! Your local Wahooligan
  10. Hi Steve, The best way to simulate a specific route is using the ELEMNT or ELEMNT BOLT. You can import the GPX file into the computer and then the KICKR will simulate the actual route based on weight, power etc. You can do this with any route available in GPX format or you can import a route from STRAVA. For realistic routes that are filmed we've fallen in love with the App called FULGAZ - You can ride a range of realistic routs and there is an APPLE TV app for the product making connection to TV very easy. Cheers! Wahooligan Chris
  11. Yeah... But a towel isn't "AERO".
  12. Ek hoop dis n moerse sukses I hope it is a moerse success
  13. NICE! Building you indoor ecosystem...
  14. Hi Shaper, The KICKR CORE is expected to land 1'st October and retail at R13,999 incl VAT. This is a conservatively proposed price as we simply do not know what the exchange rate will do. The good news is that we do not expect the price to be higher than this and at best the price might come down slightly. Should you have a pre-order in place you will receive a refund on the difference when it ships. Key differences to note vs KICKR '18: - Ships without RPM Cadence - Ships without a cassette Will however have the same silent drive that comes with the KICKR 2018
  15. Hello Rudolph, Thanks for considering the Wahoo KICKR. It will be the best buy you ever make Regarding the differences. Wahoo simply made minor improvements on a bullet proof product that does not require much change. The have however made the following changes based on customer feedback: - The KICKR 4 2018 will be silent. Based on feedback from customers this was a major point of improvement to compete against the sound of the NEO. - The heavier flywheel makes the true road inertia a bit more realistic. - Adjusted carry handle for compatibility. The other points you have made already works with the KICKR i.e axle compatibility, Headwind/Climb integration. So whether you buy a KICKR 2017 / 2018 there are minor differences and either way you have a bulletproof, solid, pain cave machine.
  16. Support calls... I predict MANY people blaming their indoor trainers and not their device or software.
  17. New products may launch... But indoor trainers will only realistically make it to shelves by northern hemisphere winter (October) to capitalise on the Trainer season sales. I would not hold my breath for discounted deals very soon... I would keep an eye on the new product launches.
  18. Done... I'm doing it.
  19. Fox Ascent bibs are lekker too.
  20. I recall this guy saying exactly the same words...
  21. If they had a choice... These poor prisoners we call pro cyclists: 1995 We all know that if they had a choice they would all be using Cateye 2004 We all know that if they had a choice they would all be using Polar 2018 We all know that if they had a choice they would all be using Garmin Looking forward to how things change in the next couple of years...
  22. Guys guys guys... We can not disregard approval from the pro's completely. They pay for nothing they use, just like other sport stars. Cricket, tennis etc... If we are consistent, we will end up being sceptics on all products used by pros just because they got it for free... It does not mean they use sub par products in their attempt to be world champions. In many cases the slightest disadvantage can mean losing out.
  23. Sagan Approves... And Marcel Kittle... And our first commonwealth medalist, Henri Schoeman... This is a great bike PC.
  24. 4K not required, I simply run the 4'th generation Apple TV.
