When you complete a FC event you keep your number permanently (one of the many small special things about these events). Johann is no 27. He is not riding this year.

I'm not a race snake so don't mind weight. My pack was 4,5 - 5 kg before water On RASA i carried a few more spares than on RTR - not much difference in weight I prefer the weight on my bike as I am strong on the portages and prefer to keep my backside comfortable . My2c

I consider plugs a permanent fix in my tyres

This works well. I use liberal amounts of super glue on the stitching and then to glue patch down. Super glue does not seem to get effected by sealants

Surely internal corrosion must be a manufacturing fault? This is not a paint issue therefore 2 yr warrantee has no relevance. If this was my bike I would not be happy.

29 Does your rack require lugs. I'm new to this

On a full sus (Camber) as this is the only bike i have at the moment and the Thule racks aparantly work with dual sussers. I am not wanting to put panniers on, rather carrying bulky stuff on top. Will check out that site.
