  1. I sort of worked through "running rewired" by Jay Dicharry, and can recommend it to anyone looking to improve their running form. He explains proper running form, provides self tests for weakness, and exercises to improve form.
  2. It's not tough technical terrain, but it's a fair bit of single track with rock typical of the signal hill area. The route is fairly challenging fitness wise with a bit of uphill to get around signal hill and then to come back up from the Glen. You should be fine, maybe.
  3. The chain is catching on a tooth from the next cog. If you check the profile of a cog the teeth don't sit in an exactly straight line, some of them are closer to the next cog. Makes it easier to change gears I guess. So file that tooth a little bit, or, use a chain that's worn a bit. If you put your bike on a stand and slowly pedal the chain you'll see it catch a bit. It's definitely not limited to just this cassette, I've had it happen with 11x shimano cassettes.
  4. How do you know someone's going to Switzerland? They'll tell you.
  5. So more riders with flats than clips, eh?
  6. So to go faster, don't use breaks and don't paddle, got it.
  7. Is that a floating caliper
  8. Buy protective film/wrap, stick it where the rail will mount. I put some in all the cable rub spots, where I mount the battery, where the bike rack clamps, etc. I got some from maizeys in paarden Eiland, but there's a thread for where to find otherwise.
  9. I played the latest GOW without having played any of the previous, imo it's amazing. Choose the "give me a challenge" difficulty for TV smashing fun. Division 2 is pretty good if you like looty shooty.
  10. Kegels to train for #morzine, when we drop into something crazy and need to knuip.
  11. Is that chromag doctahawk ample enough though.
  12. I think he was joking...
  13. The one without hsc adjustment.
  14. It was the charger 2 damper. That debonair spring upgrade might be worth it, considering how little it costs.
  15. Well I did say vaguely...
  16. I vaguely remember someone having trouble with derailleur alignment, I wonder if it's related...
  17. The lyrik is an upgrade to the yari but it's not a big upgrade. I did the damper upgrade to a yari (yarik), it's OK. There are probably some areas where it's a noticeable improvement but the yari is a good enough fork. If you have the budget then go for it.
  18. It wasn't OTB and it wasn't washing the front wheel, but you are correct in making that statement.
  19. When I first got my longer-slacker-lower I kept going endo and washing the front wheel, but it stopped after a few months without changing anything but riding style (adapting to the bike). But 2.5 DHF front and 2.4 DHR rear is faultless so the problem could only have been me. And 73.something degrees is slack AF.
  20. And if you jog you're a jogger? Don't get too hung up on the gatekeeping.
  21. Kop jik?
  22. You break another rear mech, my bru?
  23. We don't need the results from stage 2.
  24. Yah went OTB past Sunday again, on dh2 this time. But getting more comfortable with the bike...
  25. Hoogekral can be gnar if you're pushing the limits, are you planning on taking it easy? Or is this a humblebrag?
