I also got Optical inserts and have no problems with them. They are also easy to use. Done a lot of races with them, been using since June 2009. May check out some Bike shops. Got mine much cheaper than at a Optometrist. You can just take the insert to them to do the optical lenses for your insert.

I also had a shop where I had to keep taking my bike back after the service and I just stopped using them. It becomes an Inconvenience to keep riding up and down.

If register on mtncycling they give you the option to collect your board at the race or they can courier it to you at additional cost. And if you have a old board you just swap it for a new one at registration.
