  1. ok sir, will remove myself for you.
  2. it says forgetting to use gears outdoors, if this happens then you shouldnt be on a bike.
  3. I do the same most of time... okay I havent been doing too much of intervals recently as there isnt anything to really train for, but I certainly dont become lazy or forget how to ride outdoors. During L5 lockdown, I rode 30 days straight on Zwift, 1650km of intervals, races etc. Never had a problem riding outdoors on first day of L4. I just find it strange, thats all.
  4. Sorry not having a go at you, but I find it hard to believe this. If you are doing intervals above FTP or above your "comfort" zone, ERG is not going to make it easier. If your FTP is 250w, you cant set 20min intervals at 400w and expect to ride it out with ease. the trainer doesnt make it easier in ERG mode if you dont have the strength to hit the numbers.
  5. I find it strange that any rider would have this working against them. Also if you continue to mix it up, train/do intervals indoors and ride out weekends etc then there shouldn't be problems.
  6. Doesnt look like 4iii have for 8100. nothing listed on their website. https://4iiii.co.za/precision-single-sided.html https://shop.4iiii.com/products/left-side-precision-powermeter-ride-ready?variant=17321768902#details
  7. is your laptop picking up the Ant+ dongle ? Think you may need to install drivers for it.
  8. might be some truth in that, but if you legs cannot produce that power then the trainer would lock up... its not like the trainer is rolling at say 250w, you have to turn the pedals to hit the numbers.
  9. I still record on my edge to get discovery vitality points . But yeah if you dont need this then just record on Zwift and send to Garmin/Strava and TP.
  10. I get this all the time, you ride too much... you never at home... So taking a short break, this morning I was asked why I didnt go out riding, like wtf, they are confused. Guess the weekend will be a good one on the roads
  11. Ant+ dongle on a 2m extension so it sits next to my trainer. On windows laptop, maybe had issues 2-3 times with drop outs in about 4 years.
  12. Try to support your LBS wherever possible during these difficult times, especially the smaller shops who need our business for survival. Online shops can't do everything your LBS can do.
  13. Doubt they will exchange it, but give it a try. If they were too small, you shouldnt have ran 8km with them. I mean from the first few steps you should be able to tell. Now what does the shop do with a used shoe ? Sell it to someone else after a good clean... I'm sure you wouldnt want to be that person getting a used shoe as new. And I think most if not all shops say that items must be unused/new condition to qualify for a return/exchange.
  14. Some are from different ranges, have different cuts. On a few, they do say in the description that they are a smaller fit. But if they are from the same line, then they need to sort you out.
  15. Ran a 27:20 5km this afternoon. First time going sub30 in like 4 years. Still loads of work to do and need to shed some lockdown weight. Enjoying mixing things up now, spent way too much time on the bike in the first 7 months of this year, 10000km already.
  16. "Facelift" Thing is, those who have the money and are always wanting the latest and best will happily drop the cash on it, thats how businesses stay alive. Marketing Hype.
  17. It's the same price as the old one, so for those looking to buy now they get a few "extras" at no cost.
  18. Try to get your hands on some Token all weather brake pads. They seem to work well and better than SwissStop imo. Finding them locally is a mission, Token/Positive sport hasn't had them in stock for a few months. https://www.merlincycles.com/token-all-weather-carbon-brake-pads-131829.html
  19. 3 worlds at anytime with multiple routes on each, how do you ride the same route over and over again ? And Zwift average speed isn't accurate in comparison to real world at all so why bother about that ?
  20. From browing the interwebs... seems like Asics has fallen behind. I dont know, dont follow all of this too much. So with everything advancing, there's alot more options now. Oh and it seems like Sportsmans only keep the crappy colours of the new Cumulus.
  21. i'm happy with the current package, dont need their training plans and the companion app isn't a huge thing for me.
  22. Hey runners... looking for recommendations on a neutral shoe for short distances, not more than 10km. Used to run a bit a few years ago and been using Cumulus 17. The sole is starting to fall apart now and its time for something new. Will be buying through Discovery shoe booster from Sportsmans so I can save some $$$. But with soo many options out there I really dont know what to get. Read a few reviews and the Brooks Glycerin 18 and New Balance 1080 V10 seem to be go to shoes.
  23. No pics on a review? We can't accept that.
