I've seen the cleaning happening with my own eyes... more thorough than usual. Anyway, we already have much more to be afraid of in SA, waking up everyday in this country is already a risk. And they are many other ways to meet your reward goals, go ride or run outside where its much better, [but you still at risk from being hit by a taxi or getting stabbed or shot for your bike]

Gym was extremely quiet , and they are throughly cleaning machines etc so thats good. Keep the immune system strong and enjoy gym while its dead.

if only that combo didnt cost R4k... thats a bit Extreme for a light

while just saying a 600 might be fine, the cheaper lights that are advertised with these crazy high outputs are never really that high. and you rather have more than you need, and use it on a medium/low setting which will give you better battery life.

was on family vacay, so we stayed at Kiara lodge which is about 20km from Clarens. Weather was crap for 3 of the 4 days we were there. like 50-60kph winds with lots of rain. Only had a chance to ride once, so just did the pass and got some pics. Great place to chill, ride your bike, drink beer and put on a few kilos :w00t:

It surely is a stunning area, and with not much cars around its a great place to ride. But there's always something special about riding around Chappies or Gordons Bay...

I would look at something from Extreme lights rather. The marvel 900 is not bad, but the beam is quite narrow and not exactly the best light for dark winter mornings. R40k towards a new bike is a much better idea... While indoor training is growing, these guys are just putting more focus on making money with all these gadgets

Been riding in a fasted state for years... Just coffee and on the road. Can go 3-4 hours without issues. If I have something hard or long planned, then i'll carry a banana or some date balls to have during the ride.

The 116 is enjoyable, not much climbing at all. The first 40km is extremely fast and fun.

No more Multiplier from what they have advised. I am making the switch next month as my old Disco credit card expires.

I think you can still get back in other area's and the total payback would be more than your Vitality premium. Gym booster / shoe booster / apple watch etc, at the end of the day those all add up. Learn to work the system properly...

the Fluid trainer for a basic unit is a good deal, you still get a proper workout with this.

haven't come across any free virtual apps. Trainerroad / rouvy / sufferfest all come at a cost.
