  1. been following this topic after some difficulty after the race to the sun, havent done long rides since then due to discomfort. I have pulled the trigger on the ERGON BIKE MTB SM COMP MEN SADDLE [STEALTH] from Trail Tech. Was considering the SLR Boost Superflow but the Ergon being male specific won me over
  2. added some ammo, good cause, will try add more once payday comes around
  3. limited info, bell end driving a red polo fatally hit someone on that corner there is a photo doing the rounds and a first name, not sharing that info.
  4. This perhaps? https://www.takealot.com/forza-light-camera-attachment-for-garmin-forza-out-front-compute/PLID91185956
  5. i have one, my 3 hour ride in daylight gained me 12 mins of battery. Its not the solution youre looking for, sound advise above here is better
  6. Tacx got bought by Garmin so it will have a proper warranty. maybe call Garmin locally
  7. I previously stopped using TR as it didnt take into account a missed workout, sickness or holidays. You can now capture this into the platform and it adjusts the plan. The alternative workouts and TrainNow are also good tools, if youre fatigued, you can switch out a workout or reduce the time etc. After each workout you rate how you feel etc and this subjective data is used to adjust your plan, especially if fail a workout or stop early. I am glad I am back on the platform, tried others and nothing comes close.
  8. Magoeboeskloof classic - road 70km mothers day weekend some years it started and finished at Trout Waters Inn, other years at the Magoeboeskloof hotel Some folk had slippers in their back pockets for the long walk up the pass
  9. i bought before they were in RSA, fantastic device. Lasted around 9000km before i needed to charge it again. a mate with an NGECO has replaced batteries numerous time. Just bought a new bike and saving to put another sigeyi on. I would recommend looking at GPLama on youtube review as well.
  10. also have the same issue, i get an error when trying re-link it
  11. +1 for intervals.icu, links to garmin now as well. I downgraded to free strava and will most likely stop using it. have already changed privacy to be excluded from local legend nonsense and all outdoor rides are marked as followers only after the spate of hijackings on the east rand. Insurance investigators asked for strava privacy settings when a mate got jacked.
  12. do you do that route solo?
  13. great read!. how long into the race did your hands start having issues? do you know how long it takes for the numbness to subside after? Would love to do Munga but the hand issues concern me
  14. Am in the area on holiday and wished I brought my bike. Have driven from hazyview to Sabie and hazyview to graskop. Roads are good and quiet. There was a rockfall but graskop but all fixed
  15. Reinhardt got the nod from Lotto to ride the tour
  16. van wilder breaking his jaw, thats gonna take a long time to heal
  17. World champion Julian Alaphilippe (Quickstep-AlphaVinyl) has suffered a fractured shoulder blade, two fractured ribs, and a collapsed lung after he was caught up in a mass crash ahead of the Col du Rosier at Liège-Bastogne-Liège. from cyclingnews.com
  18. 1. reinhard janse v rensburg 2. willie smit 3. marc pritzen
  19. that explains why I have three broken spokes on the front. I had considered looking for a mount for the front wheel but was concerned about standing and having zero give from the stand. I ride an old MTB frame with just the bare minimum on to get by. Looked at putting a road bike on to have more gears etc. but decided not to. I have a dedicated setup so it removes the excuses for not training. When I didn't have this setup it was easy to look for any excuse not to train. If you look for an excuse, you will find one. The colors you are going with are great, similar color to my road bike!
  20. agree!! zwift = every day is race day, an easy ride for me was often ruined by an aussie flag coming past me, just couldn't help myself. When TrainerRoad publicly release their Adaptive Training upgrade it will be hard to beat from a structured training perspective.
  21. I'm backing Dion Guy for the win
