  1. Yeah, nah I was subjected to it by The Girl and it was so much cringe.
  2. I'm on NordVPN as well, got it on sale some time ago for a 3-year deal if I remember correctly. Mostly using the local server just to sit behind some form of protection (for what it's worth), but recently we've been hooking up with the Australian server so that we can watch the latest season of The Block on Channel 9 AU, which is pretty useful. On 20mbps fibre at home all the way to Aus we're streaming perfectly fine, no issues.
  3. I also had to Uber home a few weeks ago because I used up all my repairs. Never again!
  4. I only tuned in for the first couple of laps be cause it was F1 at Portimao. It looked like a proper amateur club race with the amount of cars off the circuit in the opening rounds
  5. Man I miss the Cape Streams. Such rewarding fishing. I also had my first outing two weeks ago, and had my best fishing day ever (so far)
  6. Because they like it?
  7. Okay so I've decided to purchase a new circular saw whilst the table saw is benched for the moment. Currently looking at the following on Facebook Marketplace for around R2000: - Bosch PKS 66 A Green (1600W | 190mm) - Ryobi W-2400 Industrial (2400W | 235mm) - Dewalt DWE560 (1350W | 165mm) I quite like the Bosch and Dewalt units as they are smaller and more compact, but the Ryobi is a beast of a unit, but I also don't think that I need that much capability for the moment. Anything else I should be looking at, up to around R3000?
  8. We use this type of fan: https://www.makro.co.za/appliances/fans-heaters-air-coolers/fans/floor-fans/kenwood-45-cm-floor-fan-/p/000000000000062992_EA I would not be paying R1000 for it now to be honest, that just seems crazy. The big Russell Hobbs one is the same price: https://www.makro.co.za/appliances/fans-heaters-air-coolers/fans/floor-fans/russell-hobbs-56-cm-high-velocity-floor-fan-/p/000000000000321743_EA

Rossi has tested positive for COVID.
  11. Sorry, perhaps I wasn't clear enough. The VD points are monthly, but 150 of your points are for your annual check (which I haven't yet done this year), but it now shows on my profile that I only need to do a check in 2021. This was September 2020 - no points as I hadn't done my check. The above is October 2020, so I'm curious as to whether there was a similar change implemented with the insurance as with health.
  12. Some very impressive tools, but the pricing structure is a bit apprehensive.
  13. Myles, we all know now that if your 2019 Vitality Health points were higher than this years' (or if you didn't go for your tests this year) it will get carried over, but do you know whether this is also applicable to your Vitality Drive points? I was due for my annual inspection last month (but was lazy), but I now note on my Drive profile that my points are valid until 2021 Was hoping you knew before I sent them a query.
  14. I was on a bit of a holiday, so I missed this post. Unfortunately, to my best knowledge we don't have such services. I would definitely subscribe to it though! Anyhow, the table saw itch is still itching, even though I have no clue where I'm gonna put it...
  15. Right, we've finished it. I stick with my above statement. The final two episodes were absolute train wrecks - I totally understand the outrage that the GoT fans had about the show. However, second last episode of Season 6 - Battle of the Bastards. Probably the best bit of TV that I've ever watched, that was just so incredibly good. Overall verdict, 8/10. I enjoyed it, it was a really good show, but not something I would have watched out of my own.
  16. Okay so we've just started Season 7, and I offer my unbridled fact-based opinion on how I've experienced the show thus far
  17. I actually do have a Kreg Accu-Cut XL track setup (which I've only briefly used thus far), but I absolutely need a better quality circular saw. The repetition of the table saw is what's drawing me to it, but for the moment, practice with the track saw will have to do until more space and/or money is found!
  18. Excellent post, thank you! I have been scouring the classifieds, but I am limited to GP unfortunately.
  19. Might need to put scratching this itch on hold for a while - it's not like I've even got the space for a table saw at the moment...
  20. I know this was asked previously, but it doesn't seem like a sufficient answer was ever found. I'm in the market for a table saw, but the feeling I'm getting is that any Ryobi "low end" stuff is not worth the time, and then there's a huge void of nothing, and then really expensive machines. Does anything exist around the R5K mark at all? I'm not in a hurry so I'm constantly checking Gumtree and Facebook Marketplace, but I've not seen anything at all.
  21. The GP500 is R3000 more expensive, and comes with SRAM Apex Hydraulic brakes out the box.
