  1. Barcelona. Very very cool piece dude! I like it a lot!
  2. Can be used on 5 devices.
  3. I'm using NordVPN which I bought on some sort of 3-year special deal. It's a lot of money up front, but considering that you can use it anytime, anywhere swayed me towards it. It's also allowed us to watch The Block on Channel 9 in Australia which was pretty cool. It also comes in handy (well not last year with COVID) when we travel internationally and The Girl wants to watch Showmax or DSTV.
  4. Autodesk Fusion 360 for modeling, and CURA for slicing the STL files
  5. This But it sat on Facebook Marketplace for two days at R5K and tempted me, eventually I caved. Didn't realise that the mitre slot was oddly shaped, but I could probably 3D print an accurate slider at least!
  6. Ah dangit, I broke my own rule
  7. Stella looks chuffed with herself! Good job on the repair, that's the sort of tedious work that I don't have the patience for...
  8. That might be it. It was new to me considering broken bones and stuff earlier in the year.
  9. Drop me a line next time you're heading out that way! I hope you made it up to the new flowyjumpy section at the top.
  10. RocknFolla
  11. Been a good day in the garage today and yesterday, hopefully tomorrow sees the end of perpetually preparing, and me actually starting to make something. As part of the prep, and me not yet having bought a drill press, I decided to draw up and 3D print a jig for the cordless I also made a special base for the upcoming project as I need to drill some holes in dowels: I can also fit spacers inside to fit different size dowels: Made some further progress on the router fence/sliding jig Obviously I had to create a dust port, and in the absence of the correct size hole saw, you oversize the hole, and 3D print a suitable adapter:
  12. Work continues for the router sled
  13. Just keep in mind that the maximum cash-back depends on your banking suite. I, for example, only have a Platinum Credit Card, therefore I'll only receive a maximum of R500 a month back against the phone.
  14. Added a swimming pool hose to the bench to allow the vacuum to sit underneath the bench. Surprisingly it fit to both the miter saw and the vacuum, albeit the wrong way around. Here I thought I was going to have to 3D print some adapters!
  15. I love this so much
  16. Oh Takums, the damage I would cause to myself with a chisel is far greater than it needs to be... I did, but obviously it was a very simple and straightforward design.
  17. Decided to install some T-Track sliders for my future router fence. The little Bosch palm sander that I bought on Black Friday made this an absolute breeze. And another reason why 3D printers are important
  18. Into the swingarm, or frame, or something stupid. For the life of me I still don't understand that. Innovative, yes, crash proof, not so much.
  19. I think this comment nails it. There are so many alternatives available - why would you chance it?
  20. A mate of mine had an XB12, man that thing turned on a dime. Super super short wheelbase. Slower than my Daytona though...
  21. First visit to Klapperkop in two and a half years
  22. Then leave? For 2019 I received R 40,445.41 in cashbacks, boosts, vouchers, discounts, etc. That is enough reason for me to stay with them.
  23. Yeah no I'm with you on this one babse. It's a sad fact that Making Lots and Lots and Lots and Lots of Money > Playing for your National Team.
  24. I'm moist.
