    Hello

When going downhill move forward on the bike, and uphill move back. Wait ! Now that i think about it that doesnt make sense. I just discovered one of the reasons i fall so much.

  5. Thats bad, one guy from our club rides a Ridley and trains out that way.
  6. Nice to have posts not related to "Hoekie vir eensames" or "Dr Phil" again. I have Dura Chain and Ultegra cluster which is still going fine but i have only done about 1500 km on them. My Tiagra must have about 4000 km on them and no problems so far.

  13. Looking at the results and the number of withdrawals due to injuries and dificulty, i think conservative was the way to go.

  15. At last, a post thats not related to Hoekie vir Eensame's or Agony Aunt. Congrats heard it was very tough.
  16. That's the beauty of having a good relationship with your LBS. I just take mine in and they true it for me no charge.
  17. Mampara, that was one of the suggestions
  18. This was discussed on air on 702 last week, with the consensus being the management did not handle the incident in the best manner. However many callers involved in the industry did explain that they loose valuable trade due to what they call the Coke and Chip crowd. They come in groups, order a few cokes and a plate of chips then sit the whole night, meanwhile customers wanting to sit for a proper meal cannot as there is no space.
  19. Congrats to all those that did it, heard it was a tough one. Results should be out later today.
  20. Bump, any updates ??
  21. No wonder its called the Silly Season

The testimonials speak for themselves een a victim of Stan "OK, OK. I hate to say it but I've been a victim of Stan's now too. They're great while they hold air, but as soon as that bubble bursts (pun intended) it's a serious PIA (yes, I said serious too - and I don't really like to be serious).<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> The handling at lower pressure was nice, but then when the pressure gets down around zero the handling really goes downhill (or doesn't when you wish it would). [Matt, somewhere in <?:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Colorado] "This is great. I HAVE been living in Stan's "no-tubes hell" -- cost me 30 minutes on my lap time, and a brand new tire at SnowShoe 3 weeks ago. So I shelled out the 65 bucks and got myself a kit and installed it and have been having nothing but problems with it since then. I hate no-tubes. I'll never race with them again after my suck-ass laps at SnowShoe" ["ERX" location unknown] I f'ing hate No Tubes. They could be more aptly marketed as: You're a Tube, No Air, Need More Air, More Pump or Pump 'a Chump, etc. I specifically removed them before my FFTF trip so that I did not have to bear the pain Jed so well evidenced. Flatted but once. I spent $60 on the kit with s/h, an hour of my time drilling, soaping, installing kit and 5 minutes ripping it all apart and putting my tubes back in. Oh yeah, I dropped another $125 on a (crappy) compressor at Home Depot just to install them. I may just wrap a piece of poo in my worthless rim strips, light on fire and ding-dong-ditch Senor Stan when next in his environs." [sean, currently in witness protection program due to his Stan's comments] a serious PIA (yes, I said serious too - and I don't really like to be serious).
